Kitchen and household appliances

Can’t speak to everything, but I buy those roombas for $15 at my local thrift whenever I find them. After cleaning, you can get a new battery for $20 (if it even needs it), new brushes (pack of 3 sets for $20), and a dock, if you don’t have it for $15. My robot army is up to three and the “robot bat

Is a AutoEmpty Dock worth it?

I have both a Roomba i3 and i7 (US), both with auto-empty docks. I literally go for months without having to deal with either of them. Maybe I'll have to clear a clog or cut away a fiber tangle on the vacuum itself. But aside from that I just do regular maintenance like replacing the filter or empty

Robot vacuums for ADHD brains

I love it, I have a cat so litter goes everywhere and I don't have to personally vacuum it every single day. Maintenance is minimal and it tells me when it needs something. I have a Roomba i7, I think. I got the one that empties itself. I do keep my floors pretty tidy anyway because my cat loves to

Best robotic vacuum and mop for Indian households and your experiences

Been using roomba i7 for nearly 3 years now. Works well and does an excellent job in vacuuming. Needs filter replacement maybe once in 7-8 months. I don't recommend a robot mop. People in my family have it and it takes too long to mop and there isn't enough force on the mop head to remove sticky dir

whats the Best Robot Vacuum for Pet Hair you've ever tried?

I have roomba i3 and i7, both with a docking station and 2 Golden’s retrievers. Once a week I remove and clean the ends of the rollers and vacuum the collection bin and filter for the fine layer of dust that forms. They do a good job on wall to wall carpet and laminate flooring with area rug.

Is a AutoEmpty Dock worth it?

Exact same setup here. I waited to buy a robot vacuum until the i7+ came along with auto empty. That's the feature that finally made the tech worth it to me. We've always lived in very large houses with open layouts and large rooms, it's not worth it if you have to physically empty the dust bin 3 ti

Exceptional House Cleaning Recs?

It gets pretty dirty, unfortunately -- our dog is much of the problem. She's a great pyr, so if she's not tracking in dirt and mud, she's constantly shedding. She's otherwise lovely, ha! We have two self-emptying robot vacuums, a roborock Q5+ and an older roomba i7. No mop though. They're fine and d

Ecovac’s disrespectful email reply

It sucks. I'm not in the US, and the reviews on our major e-commerce website were stellar, so not only Amazon. I've had mine for about a year after replacing my ancient Roomba i7, and I actually miss the i7 (obviouslyno mopping function). I didn't need to replace parts nears as much as now. It gets
