I keep a JBL Charge speaker playing thunderstorm white noise off of YouTube next to my head. The bass is pretty good with that speaker, so it kills outside sounds nicely. Also construction earplugs in my ears.

I can send you scores and playlist if you want. Spotify has tons of backing tracks - normally labelled as Karaoke tracks. Anything is an upgrade over tv speakers. New homeowner budget..... you will figure it out. Hell even my JBL charge 4 would bump that room real nice.

I honestly wouldn't even buy a wireless speaker anymore unless it's a JBL. My charge 4 has lasted me for 4 years, and I abuse the thing. JBL Charge 5 FTW! She's waterproof and bumps almost as hard as the whole damn 5 speaker/subwoofer setup I built as a teenager in the early 2000's.
