Desktop speakers, LSX II LT or Coda W?
LSX II LT. Hands down. Coda W are Bluetooth ONLY, NOT wi-fi! That instantly disqualifies them for me. Bluetooth is lo-fi. The Coda Ws are not designed as a streaming system like all of the KEF Wireless series speakers, but more of an old school standalone stereo system. I often stream music to both

KEF Coda W (W = Wow!)
Definitely add a subwoofer at some point. I have original LSX and added a KEF KUBE 10b and the system really sings! Tried a KUBE 8b, but it was underwhelming and swapped it for the 10b. They compliment each other really well! The problem with the Coda is it’s not designed for network streaming, sinc

LSX II + sub-woofer VS Coda W + WiiM (and no sub)
Go LSX II. The KC62 is a great sub, but you could also go for the KEF KUBE 10 MIE sub. I have the LSX v1 and KUBE 10b. Great little system. ALSO, just discovered a $200 phono preamp with optical output! https://www.project-audio.com/en/product/optical-box-e-phono/ The Coda W is nice, but it’s more o

Kef coda w looking for receiver, subwoofer recommendations
A 10” or 12” subwoofer will be fine unless you’re into special effects movies. The KEF KUBE series is excellent. The Coda only has one subwoofer out port, so you’re stuck with one. If you end up liking powered speakers, you might want to check out the KEF LS50 Wireless II at some point. You can have

Question about which speakers to buy for my turnteble setup.
The KEF Coda Ws are essentially powered Q1 Metas, with analog, digital, and phono inputs, plus Bluetooth (but not streaming), and a subwoofer output. Much of their value lies in their simplicity as an all-in-one system. Having passive speakers with a separate amplifier does give you some flexibility

Coda W owners: native input auto-switching vs WiiM auto-switching?
I’ve had KEF LSX for almost 6 years and I think there were maybe 3 or 4 firmware updates the first couple years. That’s it. My LS60s have had a few firmware updates since I got them in 2022. Never an issue. This last round of firmware updates was a real mess. Every wireless speaker model had problem

Kef coda w looking for receiver, subwoofer recommendations
The Codas have HDMI eARC for TV. There’s a phono stage w/ stereo RCA inputs built-in. Also, AUX stereo RCA, optical and USB-C inputs. They have Bluetooth, but sadly, no wi-fi support like the rest of KEF’s wireless speakers. You could probably find a preamp that you could plug multiple devices into

LSX II vs Klipsch The Sevens?
The Cambridge L/R are launching this year so the M and X models are not released, summer maybe. The S is not like the M and X models, no streaming and not just a smaller desktop version of the other two which from Cambridge Audio might give Kef LSX a run for the money but I don't see what the S is g

Kef LSX II LT or Coda W
KEF LSX II LT is the best you can get for your desk below $500 on sale. It's not worth it to pay full price for Coda W. They are both $1000 speakers with some advantages and disadvantages. LSX II LT has better wireless connectivity, looks better and takes less space on a desk. Coda W might sound sli

What’s the best way to hook up a turntable to the LSX II LT for optimal audio quality?
The LSX II have wi-fi! Why would you want to use Bluetooth? Lack of wi-fi (AirPlay 2) support is one of the huge downsides of the Coda W’s. They’re not meant for network streaming like the rest of the KEF Wireless speakers are. It’s really an odd omission.
