LSX II vs Klipsch The Sevens?
Because I want hi-fi sound and for the sake of being able to stream lossless audio I think I'd jump up to the LS50s over the Coda W's if I needed more low end. Cambridge L/R M and X appear to have production issues as I can't find them in stock at any licensed distributors hence ending up between th

Kef Coda W/LSX II LT vs Q150 with Wiim Ultra
Not sure which option OP went with. I was in a similar choice dilemma. Ordered the Kef LSX II LT online from costco for $799. They were not available in any of the stores. Simultaneously bought the KEF Coda W from a local store (Visions Electronics) for $1098 and connected that with a wiim mini thro

Klipsch The Sevens Alternatives
I would go with small towers such as Q Acoustics M40 or Triangle LN05A, JBL 4305P or Kef Coda W for bookshelves.

Kef LSX II LT or Coda W
Not sure about discontinued, but i've seen a shift away from selling them via audiophile channels to mass sales via costco. whereas the LSX II are still selling at high cost audio-oriented sites, at 3x the price of the 'LT' version. I agree with you that the Coda have larger drivers, a larger cabine

I’m delighted with coda w
Me personally, I didn't notice performance drops with low volume levels at all, but I have them all the time in 80% volume level, and I regulate volume with my Fiio K17, this way Coda's are non-stop work on hot Amps. Not sur if that working this way but they play super detailed and dinamic even on v

Kef LSX II LT or Coda W
KEF LSX II LT is the best you can get for your desk below $500 on sale. It's not worth it to pay full price for Coda W. They are both $1000 speakers with some advantages and disadvantages. LSX II LT has better wireless connectivity, looks better and takes less space on a desk. Coda W might sound sli

Kef Coda W/LSX II LT vs Q150 with Wiim Ultra
I was deciding between the Coda W and LSX II LT for my space too. Ended up going with the Coda W because it was a small space and I didn't want a sub (yet). The Coda W sounded very well-rounded with excellent bass response without a sub - even my picky, musically trained fiancee was happy with the C

System for my dear Mom
The new KEF Coda W is right around your budget. Bluetooth connectivity, wireless speakers. All you need is a plug. They're not really portable though, not sure if that's important to you? Maybe she can keep her current little Bluetooth speaker to carry around and be mobile, while having rhe KEF spea

KEF coda W's could be what you're looking for? Might be tad more than those 700, but if you look for a bargain, the stretch of your budget shouldn't be that big. It's a nifty all in one solution. Or A Wiim Amp with a set of bookshelf speakers?
