Beolab 8s vs KEF LSX II for desk + future living room setup?
I have both. One set of Beolab 8 in my bedroom and one set as rear speakers to my Beovision Theatre in the living room. The Kef LSX II is used as desktop speakers in my office. Like @matteventu wrote above, the Beolab 8 are more similar to LS 50 Wireless II than LSX. The Beolab 8 can play louder and

Are these speakers worth it?
Yeah. Same here. When I got a KC62 for the LSX II and setup the high pass/low pass filters in the KEF app, they sound amazing now.

Is there any Sound System/TV Soundbar that's Google Home compatible?
Check any products with "Google Cast" (formerly known as "Chromecast built-in"). Avoid those that don't have it, i.e. Sonos, most Samsung, recent Sony Bravia soundbars, etc, even if they claim support for "Google Home". Some examples of soundbars that integrate nicely into a Google Home ecosystem by

Q1. What Dac + Amp are you running on your Macs?
If this is going to be used at the desktop, consider the KEF LSX II LT. All-in-one active speakers for $500 at Costco.

Speaker for my Husbands Bday!
Go with active speakers, as others have suggested. I’d say there are three issues to consider when thinking about what to buy. First, your room at roughly 15’ x 25’ is not small. Quite a few active speakers in your budget are best suited for small rooms or for nearfield listening, where the speakers

Thoughts on LSX ii LT from a KEF fan...
There are some oddities and inconsistencies using the KEF app. I have LSX and KUBE 10b and LS60s with dual KC62s. Great speakers! KEF wireless speakers all have Bluetooth, but I’ve never bothered with it. What would the difference between controlling them with wi-fi and Bluetooth be? You’d still be

KEF LSX ii LT
I'm running the LSX II LTs and the Kube 8 Subwoofer via USB C on my M4 MacStudio and am having no problems whatsoever with either the sub or the overall sound. They sound incredible. I've tested them with Qobuz and Apple Music, via both USB-C and Airplay. All permutations sound very, very good. My a

Kef LSX II LT + which Kube Sub?
I just got a Kube 10 to compliment my Costco Special LSX II LTs and I’m loving it. I went with the 10 based on what I read online. I have not heard the 8 with the LSX II LTs but I can say I’m very happy with my purchase of the Kube 10. The default preset in the KEF app when adding the sub leaves me

LSX II LT arriving tomorrow. Anxiety kicking in
It’s always tricky recommending speakers - because the source, the kind of music being played, and the taste and ears of the listener, the room, have a significant impact on the assessment SQ. It is, in short, a largely (albeit not wholly) subjective judgement call. Being a little more precise, to m

LSX II volume keys only respond after multiple presses
In the KEF Connect app you can adjust settings for different things, like how sensitive the volume controls are. Tap on the GEAR icon. What volume control? If it’s the remote, it’s a piece of junk. My LSX v1 remote is useless. I just use volume control in the Apple Music app. You can control volume
