A Nearfield Desktop System That Shouldn’t Sound This Big
Nice build! I also wanted a very high end desktop system. I replaced a pair of Genelec 8020 with the 7050 subwoofer with some very high end Sony nearfield monitors and two KEF kc62 subs. I made 2 YouTube videos about the process of integrating the subs into a system that had no sub output. https://y

My current setup any ideas to elevate it further? 🖤 🥷
A) Extend the wood design you have behind the monitor across the entire back wall, from floor to ceiling B) Replace the surface of your desktop with a wider piece of real wood (like black walnut) that extends overtop of each cabinet on either side. This way you could also put your speakers up on the

Beosound vs Beolab
Beosound are the more social/casual/omni-directional speakers plus soundbars. The Beolabs are the more serious stereo speakers I would say. I would say a pair of Beolab 8 are most similar to the Kef LS50 Wireless. Personally I have several B&O speakers (Theatre, Beolab 28, Beolab 8 and Beosound 2) p

My experience with KEF LSX II LT
I use my LSX II LT over USB-C on my PC and Spotify Connect on my work laptop and never had any issues. I literally opened the KEF app once and haven’t touched it since. For me the sound is incredible, can't appreciate the high fidelity enough.

One and a half months with my DALI Oberon 1
I’m not who you’re replying to but I own a pair of Kef LSX IIs and Dali Oberon 5s and I easily prefer the Dalis. The Kefs are very accurate and have precise imaging with very good detail, but are also clinical in their presentation to my ears. The Dalis in comparison offer a much wider soundstage an

Looking to buy 2 good quality bookshelf speakers and a cheap amp with bluetooth capability to listen to classical music in guest room
Take a look at the KEF LSX II LTs powered speakers. They’re on sale at COSTCO for $499! They use AirPlay 2 (wi-fi). I have the original LSX and a KUBE 10b subwoofer in my bedroom (12’ x 15’ x 9’H). Great little speaker system!

Are these speakers worth it?
These are my computer speakers, paired with a KC62 subwoofer. I've been an avid Hi-Fi and home cinema systems enthusiast most of my life, and during this time, I've spent well over 100k USD on speakers and components. I live for this. For the money and size, you will be hard-pressed to find a better

Why are LSX II $1500 on their site and only $500 at my local Costco?
LSX II and LSX II LT are not the same speaker. The LT version is a pared down version with fewer inputs, fewer colors/finish options and no wireless connection option to pair the speakers. They are connected via a USB C cable. The LT normally sells for $999 a pair. Costco must have a deal with KEF t

Are these speakers worth it?
Yeah. Same here. When I got a KC62 for the LSX II and setup the high pass/low pass filters in the KEF app, they sound amazing now.

Whether the LS50WII are still the best performers in their price category
I have LS50s in my office with a sub and amp, was looking at the LS50WIIs ... but recently jumped on the Costco LSX II LT sale for my desk in the same room just for improved podcast/video listening...but then didn't turn on my stereo for a week. Now I'd rather listen near field since I'm at my desk
