M47 Classic

I have the M47 Classic and love it. I use it mostly for pour over (using their dedicated Pour Over Burr) but it makes a great espresso with the “original” one. It’s a lovely grinder, and built like a tank. I haven’t used a J Ultra, but the Kinu seems a lot more flexible if you want to switch things

I’m torn on this one tbh. I like the espresso and pour over that I get out of the ESP Pro. Switching back and forth is very easy and repeatable with the digital setting display. I’d get the Kinu if you’re looking for pour over burr swappability. The Kinu pour over burr doesn’t fit or work in the Smol grinder (as it turns out). The Kinu M47 series is very well-regarded for espresso. They also sell a replacement burr designed specifically for pour over if you end up going that route. I have the M47 Classic and really like it. That said, hand grinding for espresso is quite a workout. Make sure it’s something you’re up for.
