Kinu M47 Classic VS 1Zpresso J-Ultra
I commented on your previous post - reiterating my thoughts here just to keep the conversation going: Kinu M47 Simplicity here, and no complaints so far. I love the external stepless adjustment, magnetic catch cup, solid metal construction, built-in funnel, and the ability to swap the classic espres

Hi all, my first post! I'm interested in purchasing a 9barista, I have a Sage onetouch and wondered if anyone had any experience with comparing the two.
Glad to help out! I think that getting a better grinder should be your first priority though. It's hard to get a good espresso out of any machine without one. Researching grinders is a whole other journey, but I have and like the Baratza ESP Pro for espresso. It's considered "entry level" (at $300 U

Machine:Grinder cost ratio in this sub
I currently use a Flair 58+2 lever machine, and a Kinu M47 Classic hand grinder. But as capable as the Kinu grinder is.... I'm sick of hand grinding and next week will buy a WPM ZP1 electric grinder. What handgrinder do you recommend for Bambino Plus? [400 EUR]
The Kinu M47 series is very well-regarded for espresso. They also sell a replacement burr designed specifically for pour over if you end up going that route. I have the M47 Classic and really like it. That said, hand grinding for espresso is quite a workout. Make sure it’s something you’re up for.

What two grinders would you get? One for espresso and one for pour over. [budget $1-1.5k total]
FWIW, I opted for a dedicated hand grinder for pour over (Kinu M47 Classic). I wouldn’t consider hand grinding for espresso, but the results have been great and the workflow is nice (and quiet!) in the morning.
