I can’t tell you how excited I am to have this on my desk

Sounds thick if that makes sense. Like peanut butter for your ears. Lol The speakers I’m running are Klipsch RP-500m ii and they can get kind of sharp at times. This kind of rounded them off and added some extra weight in the mids without stripping the Klipschs of what makes them good to me. Definit

For vinyl listening, may I ask the what you'd go with pertaining to Kef Q150/Q350 or Klipsch RP-600M ii.

Get both of you can float it. Try both in your room. Return the one you don’t like. I did that when I bought mine and ended up settling on the Klipsch’s little bro - the RP-500mII.

New temporary house setup

$220 is a great deal for the older model. The RP-600M II are a clear improvement, but not for that difference in price. Keep in mind that the RP-600M (both older and new models) are huge and will take up a large amount of desk space. OP has the smaller RP-500M II.

Best speakers for an Audio Technica AT-LP60X-BW?

Not knowing what you will power the speakers with, I would recommend 8-ohm speakers such as: Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-500M (Ebony) Bookshelf speakers (Ebony) at Crutchfield Polk Audio Signature Elite ES15 (White) Bookshelf speakers (White) at Crutchfield Polk Audio Monitor XT20 Bookshelf speake

It’s apparently an expected behavior - Crutchfield’s return policy seems to have it built with just that in mind. Also, FWIW, and after looking at your current setup, American Beauty is incredible on my Klipsch RP-500mIIs. Bass heavier music might sound a little thin on them without adding a sub, bu

Im looking for budget speakers for a small bedroom

I’d take a look at the Klipsch RP-500M II. They sound fantastic for the money and, in my opinion, look great too. You’ll need to pair them with an amp, but their high sensitivity means they’re easy to drive. If you’re on a tight budget, I’d go with a WiiM Amp. It should handle them nicely, and you a

Looking to get into vinyl. Need a setup.

Check out r/turntables, but here’s my system and I’m really happy with it. Well below $2k Turntable: Fluance Rt-82 - $349. Great, well-regarded TT and you can upgrade the cartridge later if you want (I’m really happy with the stock one) Amp: Onkyo TX-8260 - $399. Has a phono stage, so you can skip g

It was this very moment that I knew….

Both too much and not enough. lol I paid $685 all in for the Yamaha A-S801. I paid $302 all in for the Klipschs RP-500m iis. Both ebay deals. But if you factor in the money I lost through trial and error before this set up probably $1,500 sunk cost to get here. 😅

What's the best $500 you can spend?

At 500$, my top 3 would be : Adam T5V ELAC DB63 Klipsch RP-500M II (No particular order, choose whatever you prefer).

r/AudioEngineering Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk

Hi, to start things off, I know nothing about how to properly hook up nice speakers, and I’ve just been gifted a set of Klipsch Rp-500M speakers. These are replacing what I can only describe as Sony boombox speakers from the late 90’s, so a big upgrade. I also received some 14/2 speaker wire to go w
