Then honestly, you did a perfect job! Such a good build and itll keep him ready for future games with those specs. I have the same KTC monitor as my side monitor just with less hz and its really good for how much it costs.

How good is KTC?
I bought a KTC monitor (200hz) recently, but it has screen flicker, only up to 144 hz works, so they might have QC issues. But the monitor display itself looks nice. I didn't bother sending it back, im just using it with 144hz even tho it should do 200hz

What monitor should I buy for my partner?
I’d shoot for a 2k resolution with 240hz + refresh rate at 1080 resolution. That way they can jump up to 2k gaming with the 3060 or stay at 1080 with good frame per second capability. I’ve been seeing a lot of deals for the ktc monitors. If you have access to Amazon you can get two of these 27 inch

Does anyone have experience with using KTC displays with Mac Mini?
Overall KTC monitors work pretty well with the Mac Mini, especially the M4 and M4 Pro models.
