The future of Grayscale AA

They would never merge it, we've been there and done that. I can understand why they would want to use grayscale only, but that HiDPI future wont arrive anytime soon. Just recently, Kuycon released somewhat affordable G27P at 1000$, for 60 Hz IPS. OLED screens still suffer from burn ins, and microle

Studio Display XDR | Asus XG27JCG | Kuycon G27Z | (and a G27P) - A Display Personalities Comparison

We have a few Kuycons around the office and I feel like one of them had a fan noise spike but sorted itself out. The P27Z, like all these 5K displays, pumps out a lot of heat but I haven't had fan or other noise issues with any of them. That said, it is in an office that is really cold in the summer

My experience color calibrating Kuycon G32P monitor, ordered from ClickClack.io

For my Kuycon G27P, the sRGB mode is quite accurate outside of being ~6850K instead of 6500K, calibrating with i1 display pro fixed it entirely. I did two calibrations, one in native gamut and one in sRGB mode. Windows ACM does a good job clamping to sRGB when using the former calibration (and it ha

6K dual monitors for productivity use: Asus ProArt PA32QCV vs. Kuycon G32P

They both had the same issue. But easy return policy with proof of defect for the Kuycon. I ended up trying another 5k 27 inch, the RichVision 200 Pro Max… huge mistake! The worst monitor uniformity I ever seen. Been in a dispute with the seller and Alibaba for a month now and settled for a 35% refu

Anyone use the Kuycon 32" 6K Display?

I’ve been using the kuycon 27” 5K version for several years now. For work productivity, web browsing, YT, it’s great overall. I can’t speak to colors as I don’t do design work. A little tempted to get the 6K monitor, but I don’t see a real need to upgrade

Any good glossy or glass monitors other than Apple?

Here's the text, originally written in June and edited a few times after: Hong Kong, I believe. If different when it arrives, I'll follow-up. Details from their web site: Edit: linking to ClickClack.io as the official US vendor; kuycon-us seems unauthorized as a US vendor EDIT, 25 June, 2025: Air Wa

Is there a way to use an app like BetterDisplay but keep scaling at 200% like in Windows?

At 27", there's the Asus PA27JCV at 5120 x 2880 for 218 ppi. $850.00 There's also the BenQ PD2730S, same resolution, but more expensive ($1300.00) (I'd rather have the Studio Display for a couple hundred more). There are others, like the Kuycon G27P at $1100, but I don't really know the brand and

BenQ MA270S first impressions

From what I can tell, the BenQ MA270S currently looks like the best option on paper. BenQ claims it offers the highest level of sharpness available. I’d still like to verify for myself whether the panel is truly free of grain, but it also includes a built-in KVM switch, which lets you use one keyboa

Studio Display XDR | Asus XG27JCG | Kuycon G27Z | (and a G27P) - A Display Personalities Comparison

I need a monitor purely for text use, and wanted a glossy 6k 32". I was thus thinking about the Kuycon G32P, which is the 32" version of the G27P. I don't need responsiveness, I just need text clarity. Given this, from what I've read of the G32P (which should apply equally to the G27P), its main dow
