If your Steam Deck Broke, Would You Buy Another One or a Different Handheld?

I sidegraded to the Legion Go S SteamOS version and I've sworn to never buy anything else but a Steam Deck again. While on paper it seems great, more power, better screen, steamOS, more ram, more everything. It also has it's downsides you realize when you actually use it daily. It's bulky and heavy

Lenovo Legion Go with Z1 Extreme now costs $999 after launching at $699 two years ago

Quite by accident (I didn’t want to buy it and was just looking for a solution to stream from my PC, and I was leaning more toward Gamesir for my tablet) but I saw the Legion Go S in the base configuration for $568, and given the upward trend in prices, I thought it would be a good deal. After that,

Should I sell for Xbox Rog Ally?

I had the XAX and returned it due to windows issues and having to deal with them. Updates and what not, not working. So I bought the Steam Legion Go S Z1 extreme and I like it a lot more. Yes the XAX was comfy too hold but it is still bulky. It's pretty thick. I have larger hands and really like the

If your Steam Deck Broke, Would You Buy Another One or a Different Handheld?

I, too, side graded to a Legion Go S SteamOS. For me, it is the Steam Deck 2. The same thing, but better in every way. The bigger, higher resolution screen makes a huge difference to me, as does the much better performance. It can run everything at 1080p, so I regularly plug it into the TV. When I d

Two amazing deals - Which one do I keep?

Performance: Legion Battery: Steam Deck - Legion Go S really struggles here Ergonomics: Steam Deck Screen: Legion - both good but Go wins slightly to size, higher hz, and VRR Speakers: Steam Deck - gap can be closed by using DeckSP decky plugin on Go Track pad(s): Steam Deck - Legion’s trackpad is l

Two amazing deals - which one do I keep?

How so? I own both of these handhelds and the Legion Go S is really just a Steam Deck with better specs and a worse track pad. I prefer the Legion for the larger screen and the fact that it’s a better docking experience for playing on a larger display due to the ability to bump up the TDP to 40W whe

Genuine question: aren’t most PC games NOT made to be played on a handheld?

Most certainly aren’t made with handhelds in mind but most modern PC games support controllers which is pretty much the same thing. I’ve only had experience with my Legion Go S which uses the same software as a Steam Deck and you can easily tweak the controls even if they’re not made with controller

Opinions on trading a legion Go S for an Xbox Ally X?

I have both, I prefer the XAX over the Legion Go S. Yes, I wish the screen was a little bigger on the X, but it's not a deal breaker, the performance, ergonomics, battery life, speakers, haptics, are superior on the X. I have Bazzite installed on mine and love it (dual boot set up with Windows) As f

Which do you recommend: the Lenovo Legion Go Z1 Extreme or the Lenovo Legion Go Z2 Standard?

So I decided on a Lenovo Legion Go S Z1 Extreme, but wouldn't a Lenovo Legion Go Z1 Extreme be better? It has a larger screen and detachable controls.
