ThinkPad X13 Gen 2

The m1 MacBook Air can be got for under €700 which is a serious enough laptop for the money. I don’t use Mac though I use windows, you’d get a nice X13 series Lenovo Thinkpad tough for that money either. Fairly robust as well as I use mine out in the field.

What do you mean by repairable? For several years now thinkpads have soldered ram, type c connectors that are so bad, Lenovo had to extremely over engineer in one of the latest models in hopes it won’t lose contact. I did buy an X13 gen 2 screen which is 16:10, but it came broken🥲

This happened with my X13 Gen 2. Both the screen case itself was busted and the hinge had broken in half. I bought a new hinge and the screw holes that were broken off I put back together with metal glue. It was a major pain in the ass, but it's doable.

lenovo thinkpad x13 yoga very solid choice

x13 gen 2, same specs, less durabilty, but better price to be fair I personaly will go with the p14s just because i like touchscreen

I am also big fan of X series. I have 2 x270, one x390, another x13 gen 1 amd, really rocks and a x13 gen 4. And I am waiting for a x13 gen3 core i7 with 32 GB of ram. Now it is a lot of good priced x13 gen 3. And I agree with you, x270 has a different (better) feeling

X390 build quality is excellent. Additionally the keyboards are super cheap if you'll buy a damaged or worn out one. And it's super easy to replace them. X13 is tighter, hotter but they also have Mg-Al chassis. X13 was using 10th gen Intel CPU, but they are as fast as these 8th gen ones used in X390
