Anyone knowledgeable in HDR, how do I make it not washed out/blurry

My previous monitor (now secondary) of LG 27GL83A-B has HDR10 and it was pretty good. HDR10 is in my opinion the minimum HDR you want that is not an OLED/mini. The HDR on that monitor was good but nothing in comparison to an OLED HDR. As others mention, SDR content isn't good in HDR. Windows really

LG 27GL83A-B or LG 27GN800-B / other monitor recommendations.

The LG 27GL83A-B is a solid option My brother has that one and it has worked the same for like 3 years now Not the best with contrast but performance is pretty good as its IPS

Problema con HDR.

review LG 27GL850 => link notare commento HDR: The LG 27GL850 is terrible for HDR. Blacks look gray due to its low contrast, and it doesn't have a local dimming feature to further improve it. It also fails to make colors look vivid. breve googlata e da quello che ho capito HDR10 è semplicemente uno

[Event] Halloween Special: Play your scariest game with LG OLED’s Perfect Black

Hello, definitely a game like Outlast Trials which would look amazing. I have myself a LG UltraGear 27GL83A-B which i've been very happy with, but if I had to nitpick, its not OLED so I've never experienced the perfect black. LG's OLED perfect black would change every game for me and would make horr

[Event] Halloween Special: Play your scariest game with LG OLED’s Perfect Black

Nothing more eerie and chilling than playing the original games without that much guidance or HUD mess, I'm talking about classic Silent Hill 2 (2001) type shi.I'm currently using an LG UltraGear 27GL83A-B monitor, I find it pretty hard to immerse myself with the bright blackish color it gives, not

r5 7600 or r7 7800x3d (gpu is 9070xt)

27" 144/160/180hz 2k(1440p) monitor is what i would go for. But note that i obviously have a bias because i myself am using a 27" 144hz 1440p monitor atm. Panel choices are TN/VA/IPS/OLED. TN allows for highest refresh rates, but kinda washed out colors. VA has deep blacks and high contrast, but suf

I'd love to play Cronos the New Dawn for sure. Currently using an LG 27GL850; though still great, the IPS panel certainly lacks in showing perfect blacks. An OLED would absolutely make any horror games that much more immersive and scarier.

Thoughts? I hear mixed feelings about running 1440p but I would like to have something with a decent refresh rate for when I game on Xbox. Too expensive to go 4k and have a better refresh rate than 60Hz.

https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27gl850-b-27gl83a-b apparently it's fairly miserable at hdr-- which may not be your use case anyway. (I use the MSI MAG 323UPF which is unfortunately twice the price.)
