Best (non-apple) monitor?
For a reasonable price the LG 4K 27UP850-W. Best non gaming monitor for Mac IMO. Gives you all you need, even some stuff you don’t, and it is very good with Mac compatibility. Best option for any price (including against the ASD), ROG Swift 32” 4K OLED 240Hz. Also no matter what you do don’t buy any

Best “bang for your buck” monitor for M4?
LG 27” 4K monitor, 27up85n or older model 27up850, or 27-650 series. The 85 and 850 has USB-C with Power Delivery, but you don’t need it for you Mac Mini. Maybe for later on your MacBook? The screen is great, 163 PPI and at relative low cost. $300-400, used you can find it even around $200 Anyway, i

Suggest Me a good budget monitor for my mac mini m4 :)
I have both the Dell U2325QE and LG 27UP850. The Dell has great colors but I prefer the LG personally. But both are great monitors. Now. To answer your question. • Is 4K a must, or is 2K enough @ 27 inch? YES. 4K is a must. I’ve tried 2K on my Mac and regretted it. • Is a high refresh rate worth i

Help with a portable or cheap monitor that’s 2k-4k?
LG 27UP85 or the older one 27UP850. Both are 27 inch 4K matte screen. You can go for the 65/650 but that one have no Power Delivery. Rock solid screens! 💪🏼

Thanks to this sub just pulled the trigger on the M4 Mac mini. need honest advice on monitor + peripherals before I screw up.
You can stick with the lower DPI for your gaming since there is motion. But for computer work? Headaches, eye strain, eventually get bad vision, need to pay more for better glasses in the long run. Don't know your age, but health is important! A good monitor is MORE important than an any other part

£400 Monitor suggestions
The LG 4K Ultrafine monitors are good. I spent quite a bit of time researching over the past couple of weeks. The consensus seems to be that the 5K monitors (Asus ProArt, HP etc) are all the best for Mac, but they're hard to find in the UK and are expensive. I narrowed it down to the LGUQ850, LGUP85

Top 2 4K Monitors (TV + Productivity + Media Use, 27"/24") [LG 27UP850-W] – 27", 4K, HDR10, USB-C, 60Hz, excellent for Mac Mini. Great color accuracy and sleek design.
