Here's explained why HDR might look "washed out" compared to SDR
The holy console magic sauce lol. we all have the same problems, PC gets away with it far far easier than any other platform because we have competent HDR fixes and modded implementations. consoles gets peanuts. Look at this shit in SDR on a G5 lol : https://www.reddit.com/r/LGOLED/comments/1n93i44/

S95H
The 83" S95F/H uses LGs flagship "Primary RGB Tandem WOLED" like on the LG G5/G6, which is much better than your standard WOLED panel.

75" TV LG vs Sony
Actually it’s not like that. Oled are not better for every scenario. Choosing a TV depends a lot on the usage and budget. Oled are great overall a top of the line tech. However, if your room has lot of natural light then they are not that great as brightness is not their strong point. Only the top o

2025 TCL QM8K Matched My $30K Monitor - Stop the FOMO
You came to argue about OLED's and all you're equipped with is what you saw on rtings? >_< The G5 and S95F can both hit 4K in 2% windows at their native whitepoint. Vincent Teoh was on camera doing it with the G5 months ago, and another reviewer got 4075 nits out of the S95F. Ok but if they aren't h

LG G6 OLED Review
The LG G5 has excellent HDR native gradient handling. There's some very minor banding in some colors, but it's barely noticeable with real content. When this TV launched, there was more noticeable banding due to an issue with HDR10, but that was fixed in Filmmaker Mode as of firmware 33.11.35. Other

My thoughts on TV vs VR
I agree but that's where I have the mixed feelings, my LG G5 (great TV) is so detailed when I am looking at certain physical features on my screen, the refresh rate makes that very precise and accurate, where as the VR looses that level of precision because my heads in a different spot in the virtua

Returned my G5 and got S90F, the best decision i've made
After calibrating both TVs out of the box it’s not close. The LG G5 destroys the s90f and I have both. The first movie I watched on the G5 when calibrated was Dread. The sheer brightness and colour was beautiful to say the least. I’m not saying the s90f is a bad TV it’s very good and I actually pref

PC :(
Avoid the 48” model. It doesn’t use the same 4 stack panel tech. That particular size G5 does not represent the glory of the 55” 65” 77” or 83” versions. Funny enough they offer a 97” size as well (for the low low price of $25,000 lmao!) that uses the same lesser panel tech as the 48” so while impre

Sick of missing details in dark movies. Which OLED actually nails the black without crushing everything?
You "dad's" c4, huh? OK nerd. The S95 Samsung, with it's matte screen, is the best in the business at rejecting ambient light, in an environment with ambient light, black levels rise and turn more gray, fact. OLED panels in general have fantastic acreen uniformity because of the technology on genera

I love my pro, however why didn’t Sony upgrade the HDMI bandwidth
This is absolutely untrue. Chroma subsampling absolutely affects color intensity. Quite literally, in fact. Half the horizontal color resolution is lost in 4:2:2 subsample. Depending on what is in the horizontal pixel layer, you'll be losing half of that information in a 4:2:2 subsample. Considering
