Have a similar issue with the MX Mechanical Mini where the backlight just stays on 24/7. Am using bluetooth. Keen to know if anyone has found a fix for this yet as clearly Logitech don't seem bothered.

I switched back to scissors. MX Mechanical Mini has served me well since its inception, but screw it. It’s gotten to the point where the staccato interruptions throughout the day of the 3S mouse and the keyboard is no longer tolerable.

I don't know why the deleted account claims this was never an option.
