For what it’s worth, for 3 years I’ve had a surface for work in healthcare finance and I would rather a standard Microsoft laptop. I like its portability but other than that, it operationally clunky and frequently freezes up or does other weird things.

Lenovo, I also have a Microsoft Surface laptop 7 and I hate everything about it. Its heavy, slippery metal body, keyboard mushy, touchpad not responsive, scrolling doesn't feel smooth even at 120 fps and battery lasts just 4 hours.

avoid acer for a start. I can highly recommend the Microsoft Surface laptops, they have solid build quality and will last you 5 years with ease. Sold my older one purely because it couldnt run windows 11 (new ones do) They are 15 inch, so within spec and have enough storage for all your documents.
