Its not a console that's plug and play lol. You got to set it up first before you play games on it. The only things the rog xbox ally x has going for it, is how comfy it is. Besides that the msi claw 8ai is just better

Either Xbox Ally X or MSI Claw 8AI+. Both smoke the deck on every measurable spec except screen on the XAX. XAX has the amazing ergonomics while Claw has the larger screen. Claw can't do Linux well, but XAX can.

If the price is similar, and you're really on board with only having one device for the long run, maybe the msi claw 8 ai+ is a bit of a better option since it's been shown to sometimes perform better than the XAX... I have one and i love it. Performance is great it plays everything i need it to play. The sticks are fine it really don’t bother me. The msi center is ok but after you do all the updates and stuff you really dont need it. I just use tooth n claw and it works great.

I've had OG legiongo, steam deck ,rog ally x MSI claw 8Ai plus it's by far my favorite handheld other than the loose joysticks
