The Z8 is MY nostalgic camera - a dumb take on the Z8

Let me bring you the most hipster, outlandish take you have ever seen - the Z8 is a nostalgic feeling camera. How can a cutting edge mirrorless camera be nostalgic, you may wonder, its a ridiculous notion. Let me tell you, its a bit of a story.

Back in 2014 I was very sick, lying in my bed and w

Traded in some gear.

I bought a Fuji x pro 1 a few months ago and bought some lenses to go with it, turns out I’m not a fan of the range finder style camera. So I traded in the lenses for this pretty decent Nikon z50 with a 16-50 lens. Pretty stoked on it so far after shooting a couple shots today.

Back to Nikon! Prepare to see the worst photos taken with a Z8

Nearly 3 years ago I switched to Sony A7iii from a Nikon z50. The reasons were many, but mostly that there were no affordable fast zooms, be it 1st or 3rd party.

Now things have changed, and the Z mount has not only great native glass, but also some of my favorites from E mount. Unfortunately, Son

My first night shots with my Z50

Enjoyed my second photography for beginners class last night, and although it was dark we picked up some great long exposure shots of the waterfall at a canal basin. Second time ever using my new digital camera (Nikon Z50) instead of my Phone and so far I'm enjoying it.

My shots aren't too bad, I d

These are the first few photos that I took today after it got set up. (I’m also learning how to shoot manually after doing Auto mod

My first camera! Nikon Z50 + Nikkor 16-50 f3.5-6.3

I was taking pictures before but this is truly the first camera I can call my own. Nikon had a discount on this bundle, so I got it new for around 780$. Super excited to go and take pictures!

Simplicity

Nikon Z50 using the kit lens 16mm-50mm. I find simple images the most compelling ones. ☺️

Any tips?

My dad gave me his 2021 Nikon z50 last week and I've been learning ever since.

These are a few pics I took yesterday of a diecast car I have. This was my first real "shoot" persay and I'm quite pleased with how these photos have come out.

Going forward, I will appreciate any tips/remarks on how
