CORE One L Price increase from April 7th

Prusa really needs to figure out a way to cut some cost. They are simply not competitive. Why would I pay 2k (plus 200 dollar shipping) for a printer that is less capable than my 800 dollar printer. I love my Core One, but admittedly my P2S is considerably better and cost half the price. Same with t

CORE One L Price increase from April 7th

I love Prusa printers and was debating on ordering a Core One L, to replace my MK3S+, last week but didn't because it's hard to justify the cost especially when Bambu Labs have printers that are cheaper and just as capable. Prusa needs to figure out something on their prices.

2025 Tool Changers

  • Prusa Core One with INDX is definitely a 2026 device, not 2025. - Have to increase the time on the Snapmaker U1 - Less sure on this one, but I think the bond indx systems shrinks the prusa core one effective build size

Why I am disappointed of the Core One

This post is probably why they stopped selling assembly kits. No offence but when you order a kit you literally cannot expect a plug and play experience. How exactly would it be a plug and play experience anyway when you have to build your printer first? Secondly, why would you give you or any of us

CNC Kitchen review of the CORE One L

Yeah, Prusa needs to make a better case for their machines, and focus on their strengths. The question of "Who are these printers for?" is becoming less clear. Kinda appearing to me like they are focusing more on government contractors and businesses that have very stringent information security nee

PSA: Let’s address the VFA

It's great to see your engineering response to VFA and that it is being taken seriously - I'm the guy who opened the thread on the Prusa forums about the release day Core One (Prebuilt) VFA https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/prusa-core-one-hardware-firmware-and-software-help/vfa-artifacts-on-xy-straigh

Bambu Lab 3D printers: Never again - Jeff Geerling

That's where I was. I had a moded and upgraded Ender 3 with every bell and whistle you could bolt on to improve it and I was still fighting calibration before every print. The Prusa MK4 was $1000 and looked like more of the same or I could spent $1500 and get a Core XY with material system that had

Which Slicer? `

I actually had worse print Quality with my Core One L with orca slicer. The corners where exaggerated. With Prusa Slicer I didnt had this problem.

Prusa on Bambi’s AGPL Violaton

That's funny the indx isn't theirs and heck when I finally broke down and left Prusa it was because I was on the waitlist for the XL for so damn long I canceled my order. The MK4 wasn't even an option when I picked up my X1C. The release of yet another MK printer was the last slap in the face. And t

State of the eco-system/ease of use

The differences aren't super large, but they are noticable: Loading / Unloading filamentThis imho is the biggest difference. With Bambu you load up the AMS with the spools you want, and worst case you specify the filaments on the printer / in studio. With a Core One you need to manually feed the fil
