Osprey Daylite 26+6 Front Loops

Officially, they are part of Osprey's attachment system where you can attach other backpacks (like the Daylite or the Daylite Plus) using their buckles. I've done this on occasion and it works great, though the back does extend out a bit so you have to be careful in crowded places.

Go Pack 2 vs. City Pack Pro 2 (20l)

Aer Go Pack 2 or Osprey Daylite Plus - you don't need that level of structure or additional weight tbh.

I have high hips and a short torso, so I'm cuspy on sizes - is this pack too big (long?)? Please ignore the face I'm making

Lack of a frame doesn't necessarily mean the weight will be on his shoulders. A properly worn, wide, padded hipbelt will provide support and engage the legs. If you compare an Osprey Talon 22 to and Osprey Daylite Plus, you will notice a big difference in support for the same amount of weight. But a

Back again for more help.

I bought the wife a Osprey DaylitePlus and she took it on a trip recently. She had it stuffed with her crochet project and it was no issue fitting under the seat. I’d get one myself if I didn’t have other bags already.

Evergoods CAS2 questions

Ya I hear you with that. I had an older sling I carried a few weeks ago and put in a water bottle. I wanted to see how I liked it. My shoulder and neck was killing me in less than an hour. I think the able carry slings will suffer from the same issue as Bellroy with too much extra pockets and paddin

Non backpack options

Got an Osprey Daylite Plus commuter backpack last year and it made a huge difference on my shoulders versus my large Swiss gear backpack. That said, I promptly weighted it down with tons of pins and I might re-think my pin qty this year.

Looking for a companion backpack for DAYLITEplus

Probably just the Farpoint 40, especially if you're planning to use it as a suitcase replacement. Pics of your backpack would help. Looking at the manual for the Farpoint, when the Daylite integrates onto the back, they show running the compression straps on the Farpoint through tunnels on the back

What are we using for a “Personal item” when flying

I use an Osprey Daylite Plus. Technically it's over the size limit but it's a soft backpack so I'm sure it could fit in a sizer if needed. It easily fits under the seat even when full.
