(need advice) Osprey Farpoint 40 vs Kestrel 38
The Farpoint is a travel pack. It is absolutely the wrong type of backpack for the Camino. I strongly advise against using it. Go with the Kestrel or explore other backpacks made for camping while walking distances ie backpacking backpacks. Look at the Osprey Exos 38 or something else by Osprey or G

A day pack that won't cause migraines?!
I LOVE my osprey kestrel, but it's too big for a day pack. I think mine's above 50L. Maybe they have a smaller one? For wearing a daypack, if you can get one that transfer the weight to your hips it should help a lot. If you can go try them on in store, loaded down, that's best. Kestrel works for me

Salutare!

Best backpacks for women?
My favorite and most comfortable backpack is 100% a backpacking pack and it's for men. Idk I have a longer torso. It's the osprey kestrel. But it doesn't look like it belongs in an office. If you don't want a clearly outdoor style backpack, I think like others have said, a wheel briefcase, or even a

Am I making a mistake taking a 58L bag ?
Kinda shocked by the answers here tbh. I feel like most ppl are trying to make you feel better rather than actually helping you. Im in the middle of my camino atm. Ive been paying attention to everyone’s backpack throughout the way because im a backpack nerd and most (more than 80%) of folks’ daypac

Best backpack for weekend overnight trips?
Osprey Kestrel 48. Perfect for what you’re talking about. To be fair I’m biased toward Osprey (except their water bladders, which have leaking issues)

Help with backpack choice
I went to REI and tried on a bunch of packs with an associate’s help. I settled on the Kite/Kestrel model from Osprey. I ended up not purchasing in store and glad I didn’t bcus I found one on the REI outlet site for less (kestrel 38 for $136, normal $220 USD). Their return policy and I’m a member ma

Day pack suggestions for Cut n Run work
You’ll want a bigger pack with a frame, saw stuff gets heavy fast. I like the osprey kestrel 38, it started as my personal overnight pack and then I was issued another one for cut n runs with the FS. Fits everything you’d need for a day shot and carries the weight well while still being light. Seemi
