Best smart ring for TTC

I’m really liking my Oura ring! I’ve not had it very long, so it’s still adjusting to my body, but it’s been fascinating. I struggle with oral temping, and I work night shift, so a wearable device has been a game changer. It’s a bit pricey, but I like the BBT tracking feature and cycle insights. I i

BWT: Anyone ditch their Apple Watch?

I ditched the Apple Watch years ago when I started feeling phantom taps on my wrist when there was no notification. I don't know why that bothered me, but it did. Into the back of the junk box it went. I do own an Oura ring, and I like it. I use my FSA dollars every year to buy something worthwhile

Ovulation

I found ovulation sticks to be useless for me, they were constantly negative no matter when I tested and I looked into it which basically said that PCOS can give either false negatives or false positives because your hormone levels aren't "normal" so they can often be wrong, after a while I stopped

Anyone else's main issue constant blood sugar crashes/interrupted sleep?

I hope it helps! I got an Oura ring to track sleep when it was at its worse and this trick made my REM and deep sleep so much better. Obvi not going to solve all the issues, but it helps enough to make it worth it. You could try it 30 min before bed but 1 hour works for me! Also make sure to always

BWT: Anyone ditch their Apple Watch?

Hot take: I love my Oura ring! I still wear my AW at work for text notifications but that’s it. The ring I wear 24/7 and the insights are so valuable, esp as a woman in perimenopause. I started wearing it only for sleep insights but the data was feeling incomplete without the whole picture. I love h

What advice would you give to people who want to start a better, happier, and healthier life tomorrow?

I get it dude. I love my Fitbit. Daily step and calorie counting is so easy with it. Id love to get gifted an Oura ring cause those fuckers aint cheap. Im inheriting an apple watch soon cause my sister got a new one. Curious to see how I like it as a fitness tracked compared to my fitbit

Why does 8 hours of sleep feel amazing sometimes and completely useless other times?

I wonder the same thing sometimes. It really all depends on how much REM sleep you get though. My wife got this oura ring that I guess tracks how well she sleeps and "grades it". At first I thought it was stupid and way overpriced (they are nearly $400), but I am starting to come around to it. I'd n

Off-Topic Tuesday

I only noticed the pattern once I started tracking my period with a wearable device thing (I use an oura ring, factoring in the price, it's good not great). I noticed that it was always round day 18ish I'd be more tired, and day 24ish is when the rsd hits like the Incredible Hulk (I literally give m

Daily Chat - April 22, 2026

I use a Ring Conn Gen 2 instead. It is cheaper than an Oura ring and doesn't require all the subscriptions that Oura ring does, but still protects your information. Like others have said though, I wouldn't buy it if you're only wanting it while TTC.

BWT: Anyone ditch their Apple Watch?

I wear my oura ring every day I rarely take it off. I also wear big rings everyday so it looks just like a regular ring and I don't mind paying 5 bucks. I hate hate hate rechargeable watches I always forget it and it's annoying because I don't want to take my shit off every day to charge it. I stick
