I think the S1-II is a very good camera but it is not reliable enough for professional work when the camera has to run over a longer time, probably in hot weather and in direct sunlight. Lumix has to bring out the S1H-II that is better designed for this kind of work. Most people don't need this but

Not sure how you think the S9 has better low light performance than the other two. They're all in the same ballpark. Don't buy into the myth about megapixels. Lumix S1H in 2025 - 1000EUR for used one is a steal?
I recently bought the Panasonic S1H Brand New on sale for $4400 Canadian or about $3150 US/2700 Euros/2400 GBP/4800 AUD including tax. This included a LUMIX S 85mm/1.8 lens & a 3 year warranty. The pre tax sale price of just the camera body alone was $2900 Canadian before tax or $2100 USD/1800 Euros

Would you still choose Lumix if starting today?
I have both Sony and Lumix setups. Long term I'm going to invest in L mount. I am primarily a video shooter. Blackmagic going with L mount is what made me decide that L mount was way to go. In addition Sigma lenses are native on L mount vs third party on Sony. So you can use teleconverters on sigma
