Moving from a QNAP NAS to TrueNAS
I actually installed TrueNAS onto my QNAP TS 873A hardware. The hardware supports 2x NVMe M.2. I installed TrueNAS OS onto one of these. I have a large USB external drive. I’ve landed on NAS instead of a DAS because a lot of traveling frequently and multiple users (4-6) etc. The users are me wife and kids mostly. Perhaps a friend or two but that’s it.
