The cop: “Why did you make me do this to you” Remember it’s your word vs the police. You will be always at fault. Fear of corrupt cops is literally why I got a cam. I initially got a RedTiger but it kept corrupting my videos and now I got the A119 and it’s been great. Huge peace of mind.

OP here. This happened on a road trip my wife and I were taking of the PNW for our 28th anniversary. The collision happened in beautiful Riverbed, Washington. No serious injuries, and we were actually able to complete our trip. My truck was injured but drove just fine afterwards. 2014 F150s are trul

Redtiger F7N in the corner, I enjoyed it a lot, was easy to install as well, didnt need any car knowhow when i used it as a basic dashcam (no G-sensor usage for me, but might figure that out one day) I screwed up with the rear cam, but since its not fully attached by a permanent cable, I can just bu

Please everyone get a dashcam. ~$120 gets you a redtiger - front and rear cameras, all the cabling, small - fits behind the mirror, even a little tool to tuck cables into the trim. Set it up and forget, it's all automatic. Download files to your phone when needed. There's way too many of these posts

If you’re looking for a cheap easy option, Nexar is good. If you’re willing to pay a little more, I like Redtiger F7NP with front AND rear camera. Having front only did not save my ass at all when someone rear ended me and ran.

I would not recommend this, or RedTiger cams in general. The cam you listed advertises 4k capability at the front, but the 5MP Sony IMX335 sensor it uses is incapable of recording at 4k. More specifically, the sensor has a max native resolution of 2592x1944, which is nowhere near the 3840x2160 it'd

And get something that uses a (super-)capacitor as opposed to a battery - the former holds up to extended periods of high temps. This used to be a much bigger issue ~10 years ago, but it's still good to check and make sure Don't forget a high-endurance SD card. Not the run-of-the-mill cards As far a

Sure! It’s the brand REDTIGER. I got it on Amazon. Pretty reasonable price. Not sure I can post Amazon links directly on here. Looks like it is currently on sale. I bought it for $200. It is on sale for $130, but you can apply a $30 coupon so you can get it for $100. It has both a front and a rear c

I've heard viofo and redtiger has good ones. They usually come with the windshield mount. If you have good budget then go with viofo I'd say since I was researching over these on reddit vetted and came across a few reviews about durability issues with redtiger (I mean it's a budget option so can't r

I have a Red Tiger. It’s $109. It has a front and back camera and the videos look great. If you’re not hard wiring, they’re really easy to install. Mine came with a little tool that helps you push the cords into the lining Linky Link
