Want to sell my PC. Would love to get a rough estimate from you all

Yup, I have a couple of 2.5" SATA drives. I have a Samsung EVO 870 500GB that I use for my OS/boot drive and a 1TB Lexar NQ100 which I use for games. Then I have three NVMe's, a 2TB & a 1TB are my mains and a 512GB one that I use in an external USB enclosure. There's basically no difference in gamin

Can someone help me with buying a storage card?

Check what slot type you have first, M.2 NVMe, M.2 SATA, or 2.5 are all different. Once you know that, Samsung 870 EVO for SATA or Kingston NV2 for NVMe are both reliable and cheap.

Good HDD/SSD options for Eufy HomeBase 3 right now

It’s almost hard to believe I only paid $60 for a Samsung Evo 870 500TB SSD back in January.

samsung 990 pro is overkill for ps5 but the 870 evo plus runs games just as fast for like 40 quid less

What is the cheapest pc you've build and how good is it (tell me the parts)

I used to buy ibm Thinkpad t440p for 40$ it needs ram and ssd and cpu. Put in a 4940mx and 16gb 2133mhz ram and Samsung evo 870. 120$, total and that laptop games 85 percent or more of all steam games. I used one laptop for crypto mining and the other one strictly for my gaming. Best bang for the bu

Samsung 870 EVO sees another ~50% price increase shortly after they already increased prices 100% on Samsung.com!

I used to use a $60 1tb PNY sata ssd in my budget gaming laptop for storing games and it died in less than 2 years, and both everyone on the internet and my friends said Samsung's 870 EVO is the only high quality sata drive with good longevity anymore so thats what I replaced it with even though the

Can you put a SSD in the UNAS? how so given it is meant for a 3.5HDD?

you can absolutely use ssds, just need 2.5 to 3.5 adapters like the sabrent or icy dock ones. they're cheap and screw right into the trays. for drives grab samsung 870 evo or crucial mx500 - both are reliable and have power loss protection which matters for nas. hdds aren't as fragile as you think t
