Best comparison of IPS and VA that I found
Samsung Odyssey G7 Neo. Works like a charm and has really good contrast. Only issues is very slight ghosting in some games.

Since FSR4 for 7000 is coming in July. Should now stay with my 7800xt?
I bought a mini led a 4k Samsung Odessey G7 the 43 inch one its really underrated minimum va trailing. Very good peak sustained brightness for hdr. It actually has very good brightness for full scene much higher than a true black 400 rated oled with little to no blooming. Was a great deal new for 30

What’s a good budget card to upgrade to from RTX 2060?
I play at 4k with my 5070 and 5800x3d. I play on a 43 inch 4k Samsung Odessey Neo G7 and its fantastic. Most games will run 60 plus especially with dlss with Ultra/High settings. Don't expect high refresh rate unless you use multiframe generation or your playing older generation titles. 1440p oled w

Framegen with fps cap, far below the refreshrate
Maybe I'm going a bit offtopic here, but I have a Samsung Neo G7 32" 4k 165hz MiniLED VA monitor. This monitor is probably among the most VRR-flickery panels you could ever find. For a long time I thought GSync was impossible to use in general, as the flickering was driving me crazy. I ran it withou

What monitor would you recommend for this build?
that's a solid build for a first timer, you're definitely not messing around with that 4080. for monitors i'd go with something like an lg 27gp850 or the samsung odyssey g7 if you want that curved life - both will actually let you use that gpu properly at 1440p 144hz. don't cheap out on the monitor

PS5 monitor recommendations for GT7
I started with a 75" TV (60 Hz). It was ok. Then, I switched to 37" Samsung Odyssey G7 G75F 1000R Curved 4k Monitor. I can get 4k at 120Hz with it. It has been great.

ASUS TUF Gaming VG34WQML5A of MSI MAG 341CQP QD-OLED

Beginning My First Serious Sim Rig Build — Any Must-Have Parts?
If you have that kind of money may i suggest going with the samsung odyssey neo G7 or G8 instead they are true HDR monitors and HDR wont make you better but it is pretty cool and they cost like 100-200 more than these monitors Edit the Neo G8 does have some flickering issues at 240hz soo if you dont
