Samsung G80HS on a Mac - 32" 6K 165Hz
whether macOS exposes the full 6144x3456 @ 165Hz mode, and if not 165, 120Hz 6K @ 10-bit @ 165 Hz would require HDMI 2.1 DSC 10-bit/px compression, or DP 2.1 12-bit/px if we assume Mac does not run at the full UHBR20 speed. I have a Samsung G95NC 7680x2160 @ 240 Hz and I cannot get 8Kx2K @ 240 Hz ov

This is the ultimate OLED Ultrawide experience
I will strongly disagree. I won a Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, used it for a couple weeks, and then sold it for six 27" 1080p 280hz HDR monitors and still had enough money left over to buy a used GPU to upgrade my wife's gaming rig. I'll take multiple flat panels over those headache inducing image warpin

Valve Steam Controller Review | Latency Benchmarks, Battery Life, Repair...
that works if you don't need hdr on desktop. Unfortunately i have Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, and in one of the later firmware updates they broke display on non HDR, so i'm stuck with wayland. That said wayland is pretty much default everywhere now so going back to ancient xorg to have input in games...

After being let down by HSR's lack of support for my new monitor, I expected Genshin to follow suit. To my surprise, despite being the older game, it runs perfectly at 32:9.
If you want 32:9 4K, then you need RTX 5090 to power it, and even then many modern games will struggle to output 120 FPS on it. As to what monitor, 57" Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 G95NC for example. Even whopping 5 thousands $ you'd need to buy it and 5090 aside, it's just not practical in my opinion. No

Upgrade from 5080 to 5090 for 4K?
Ah OK. All valid points. I use the 5080 FE with my Samsung Neo G9 57", and it's not enough for this monitor. That's why I'm looking to upgrade. I'll either sell the 5080 locally or give it to my wife so she can upgrade from her 4070. If I had a lower spec monitor for gaming and productivity, I'd be

I’m ready!! Baby’s
Tl;dr: I think my TV wins this when speaking of console gaming, at responsiveness especially. Okay, that's a nice monitor. But we're talking about console here, and Pubg specifically. 240 Hz is probably very nice to have in PC gaming, but you'll get only ¼ of that with console Pubg. Same applies to

KVM recommendations- dual monitor HDMI
My setup Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 57" It is pricey, has 1 DisplayPort, 3 HDMI inputs. The display can be one input or split 2 or 3 ways.
