Era 100

Today I got to listen to 2 Era 100’s and a Sonos Arc and I’m surprised that for the price point they sound worse than my $100 Edifier Bookshelf speakers! Am I imagining this or do Sonos speakers sound robotic and a bit “un-dynamic” if that makes sense?

It’s such a shame for the price point…

I currently have 6 Mirage satellite speakers mounted on the ceiling like the 2 seen in this photo. I really want to upgrade to much better speakers but am having difficulty choosing which kind (satellite, bookshelf, floor standing, etc.) and where to place them given the odd layout of this room.

I do not agree at all. I think it really depends on what you use it for. I think most people complaining on the app use B&O’s ear-/headphones and not their Beolab/Beosound speakers. Odličan. Dvoumio sam se između Sonosa ili nekih paketa tipa LG ili Samsung di dobiš sve. Sonos je skup sam po sebi. Ali si možeš složit kako oš. Sad ćekam Era 100 neki popust pa ću si dva piknut. Taman mi stanu iza kutne. A sub ću na godinu.

I wanted a really nice kitchen speaker, and got a Sonos Era 100 in white, for £199. It's made a huge difference listening to stuff while I'm cooking and cleaning, although I was upgrading from an Echo Dot so I probably didn't need to spend all that much.
