Sonos Era 300

Sonos trying to now claim the inner firing rear surround is disabled by design - yet it was designed to sound better with them turned on.

New Album to be available in Dolby Atmos!

If you're a Cure fan & have an Atmos speaker setup you already know how awesome this is! If you do not, then you will just have to get one ASAP (I recommend the Era 300).

Sonos era 300 vs HomePod second gen

Yesterday I had a listening session of the sonos era 300. It was underwhelming. Atmos content is great! It has great soundstage but the lack of bass for a speaker of this size is a total failure in my book. Especially compared to the smaller HomePod which has very deep bass and clear vocals with gre

We're never getting Dolby Atmos, are we?

I've been a relatively happy subscriber of YouTube music back from the days it was called Google music and it was the only music streaming service available in Japan. Besides the likes disappearing, I didn't have much complain with the service.

That is, until I bought an Atmos capable sound system

Dragon VS Sonos Arc

Hi everyone,

I just found out that Nakamichi released the Dragon 12 dual sub system! I’ve seen a few reviews calling it a game changer, but one thing I don’t fully get is this “ARV experience” everyone keeps mentioning — what exactly is that supposed to mean?

For context, I’ve been an Onkyo user f

After adding front left and right speakers, I found my rear surround speakers became too soft

I used Sonos sequencer to add my front left and right speaker to arc set up for watching TV.

The sound effect for left and right front speakers are excellent. Very happy with the result.

However I notice my rear surround speaker is no longer as effective or rather way too soft almost no sound.

Educate me…should I be regretting my decision?

So background…I’m only 29. I recognize I have (hopefully) a lot of time to get and “end game” set up. However, I am a musician and come from a family of musicians…I appreciate good sound.

Having said that…I just spent around $2.5k on the top of the line Sonos set (Arc + Sub + Era 300’s). And…somet

After all these years of increasing technology, is Dolby Digital 'still a thing'? And, if so, why?

Yes. I have a pair of Sonos Era 300’s and a Sub Mini and office, and Spatial Audio is night and day different. The separation you get is unbelievable. I’ve been eyeing a true audiophile setup, but every time I try to listen to stereo versus spatial tracks I just can’t pull the trigger.
