New B&O Speakers
In France, it’s 1300€ for 2 Sonos Fives. For this price I can buy a couple of focal chora 826 + Marantz NR1200 + cables. Much better in every way.

New B&O Speakers
For a smart speaker brand, it's great, and I definitely can't argue with the bass output. But bass frequency alone doesn't make a good speaker. The Apple Homepod can do 20Hz at 10dB higher than the Sonos Five, that doesn't make it a good speaker. For accuracy and overall sound quality it's still eas

Fronts (Fives) are waaaay louder than my Arc
Interesting. I’ve seen at least one other person with a very similar setup say they don’t have this issue, so I wonder if something in the DSP / tuning chain is hanging on from an earlier configuration. First thing I’d try is the simplest one: 1. Unplug power from everything — TV, Arc, Fives, Subs,

SonoSequencer + Apple Continuous gave me my music back ❤️
Really looking forward to the continuous audio feature solving so many of the issues between Sonos and Apple TV (I’m not on the beta so still waiting for it to release). My only remaining gripe is the inability to isolate EQ settings on the center channel within Sequencr. If I could do that, I’d be

SonoSequencer + Apple Continuous gave me my music back ❤️
Thank you for your post. That was exactly the position I found myself in. I wanted Hi-Fi stereo music but with 5.1 for movies. Stereo music used to bleed into the centre channel (Beam) and surrounds and I didn’t enjoy it. I had Fives as fronts by btw. I swapped for a Sonos Amp and KEF LS50 Meta’s an

What set up to buy for a DIY theatre room?
That’s one choice I suppose. You may want to price out Sonos surround sound. Basic five speakers plus a subwoofer. I suppose if you’re selling the place, taking it with you may make sense. But Sonos is almost never the cheap option. Nor the best sounding option. It is just ‘an’ option.

New B&O Speakers
There is a difference between theoretical specifications and reality. The 826 chora crush the sonos fives on all musical levels, including the bass. In home theatre, the addition of a subwoofer could be nice but I don't use any and I've had these speakers for more than 5 years, I mainly listen to ro

Denon Home vs Sonos
i tried sonos era 300 and sonos fives. if you put them together this will be the sound of a denon 600. the atmos is amazing just up the width and height at the heos app sound control. Originally i will buy the sonos but i just bought the denon 600 after testing the sonsos and i am coming from the de

Fives with Sub
I have an issue with using 100's as front that cause my Sub 4 to sound weaker vs not having front configured. Seems like having the fronts messes with the sub level for me, haven't really pinned it down yet. I have to run sub level higher to get equivalent bass, but not the bass eq. You could just b

Era 300 in Sonosequencr: Sonos’ most versatile speaker?
You seem to be one of the few that thinks the 300 is better than the 100 in front. Most other posters who have tried multiple rank Five, then 100 and 300 last as a front. The reason being the disabled drivers on the 300s vs the 100s and the Five using all drivers. Can you confirm which drivers are a
