Just got a mate 40 pro
I used to have one with harmonyOS 1 back in 2021. Sold it for a sony a6400, then sold my a6400 in 2021 to buy an a7R III. I loved the experience so much that I bought another one for this 2024 christmas. Since I already have a camera I do not care much about the old mate 40 pro image processing. Bu

Winter Mode: Activated
It’s not the camera that makes stellar photography, it’s the photographer’s skill at shooting, composition choices, and editing. If you want to jump in, look into something like a Sony A6400.

Can I outgrow my iPhone with $2K, or am I just buying expensive disappointment?
With 2k I'd either buy a Sony A6400 with Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 for a lens solution. Alternatively if you go with cheap prime lenses you could grab an A6700 with a Viltrox 50mm F1.7 and the 25mm F1.7. Obviously the prime lenses could be combined with the A6400 as well. Either of these setups will give u

Still very new in photography and learning something new with every shot. Photo was made with the Sony Alpha 6400 and the Tamron 17-70mm.

Is mirrorless the way to go?
This isn’t a direct answer to your question, but I just upgraded to a Sony A6400. In my experience so far, it is a fantastic camera. But one thing I really, really dislike about my mirrorless switch right now, is the viewfinder. On mine, you can just barely make out the pixelation. I really liked th

switching from DSLR to mirrorless
I switched over to mirrorless about a year ago (I used to shoot on a Canon T5 and needed an upgrade, and I got a deal on a Sony a6400), and I’m still working to get comfortable shooting mirrorless. Mirrorless cameras undoubtedly have some definite advantages in terms of quality and features, but I f
