I’m convinced…
I was invited to a few events over the past year. I probably won’t be invited back because I just can’t make content off products I don’t personally enjoy. I’m a Fuji lover myself with plenty of cameras from them. I think the XH2S is the best hybrid camera on the market. The x100 line is always fun

Camera for beginning sports photography
The issue is the range you’ll get. I shoot with the Sony a6100 which is the entry level mirorless. But I then use a Tamron 150-500 or a 70-180 depending on the lighting. The lens are more expensive then my camera. If you go for a Black Friday deal on the Sony a6100 + used f/4 lens you might get a be

Apple to stop selling iPhone SE and iPhone 14 in Europe as USB-C deadline hits
Lots of people in tech communities are pretty out of touch with what the average person actually has and uses. They upgrade frequently, compare against the best of the best, and frequently overestimate how common new and rising standards are as a result. Yes, USB-C has been around for seemingly fore

Good quality cameras for ant keepers?
Apexel 100mm macro lens, you can get it off aliexpress for like $15 but will take a while to ship. great quality, unless you're looking for professional equipment, that will be enough. As for cameras, really any body (actual camera) will do. I use a sony a6100, expensive and over-the-top for macro,

My Paris trip in July
If I had to start over with a limited budget I'd probably get a Sony alpha 6100, or if budget allows, the 6400. Both have interchangeable lens and will last you a long time. They also come with decent lens included, great for beginners to learn! But honestly, Nikon, Sony, Canon all have some great b

If this your first time buying and using a camera, I would probably spend less on it and see if you would like it before dropping that much money on it. You can buy a Canon R50/Sony a6100 + Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 for around $1000-$1100 used and the kit will perform amazing without needing to buy a full-

Looking for my first mirrorless camera (~€500 budget)?
Okay, problem here: a decent lens cost as much as your budget so you will have to stick with the kit lens. The a6100 + a sony 16-50 might be in budget. And yes, they are still good in 2026. Cameras don't really age, if it was a good camera in 2005 it is still just as good today. Of course there a co

first paid gig
I loved my Sony a6100. I used it for years and years and years for shows. I shot the first 5 new friends fests on it. I shot my first few album covers on it too. The body is incredible and you can find a good 28mm or 50mm lens for it for cheap. My sigma 28mm f/2.8 was only $140 used.
