FX3 is lethal for photos
If you think that's lethal, then I think you would be incredibly blown away by an actual photo (or even a more standard hybrid) Sony camera. The FX3 works but is clunky from an ergonomics perspective and 12MP is suitable for social but no ability to crop/reframe in post is tough. You should rent an

Can Sony Ever Feel Like Fuji?
I think most of this is purely the aesthetics of the camera. Fuji cameras & the retro looks are just sexier right now, esp the 100vi. There is nothing sexy about the a6700 or the a7v. The a7c series with the steel accent is the closest. I feel that if you can improve the aesthetics of the camera and

For VIDEO, how does the s1ii stack up against the newly released sony A7 V? What about the r6 mk iii or the z6 iii?
I'm definitely not as knowledgeable as many others in this sub for video, but to answer some of your questions: Shutter angle: Yes, Lumix offers this setting, I believe since the S1H at minimum. IBIS: it's not even close in video. In photography, I'd say there is at most a small gap, but video is no

Z6iii in a A7V World
Well it is two different systems. If you are already in Nikon, no a7v ist not fucking hard enough to switch systems. If you are already in Sony, no Z6 III ist not fucking hard enough to switch systems. If you don't own anything yet, both are too much for a beginner. That's just my take on things.

Buy Z5II or wait for A7V?
You’re comparing entry level full frame Nikon with pro-sumer level Sony. If money isn’t an issue, I would be looking at the Z6iii. It’s a better comparison to an A7IV, and possible A7V, whenever that may be released. You could buy the Tamron 35-150 and the Nikon primes now and still use them on your

Talk me out of a potential mistake.........
I went from Nikon DSLR to Sony A7 series, and honestly, I have mixed feelings. I miss a lot of stuff from the Nikon ecosystem, I REALLY miss that top LCD screen, I get a lot of people don’t like it but Nikon and Canon can’t both be wrong. I still feel less comfortable with the Sony body layout than

Return of the mac
It’s tough to answer, because price is such a huge factor - the difference between them is pretty significant (~700 USD more expensive for the a7CII even on sale). I had the A7CII and the A7CR at various points over the last few years - technically they’re better cameras than the S9, better AF, bett

Which zoom lens should I buy - Nikon 180-600mm or Sony 200-600 mm?
Hey, since you're a beginner, I would advise you to go with Nikon. What I see people saying is repeating platitudes about Sony's "better af" but that is not useful by any means. Cause "af" is not a single parameter, plus: every system has different strong points for "getting a shot". Why I would adv
