L10 size vs Pen F

I do genuinely understand some of the criticism; people want a M4/3 camera with all the bells and whistles, that looks stylish, and is something that they can just have in a pocket when they're put and about. I get that; I'd love that myself. But this thing is honestly about as close as you'd get to

Sony is slowly improving the ergonomics of its cameras, but it’s still not enough | I own and use Sony cameras all the time, but I’m perpetually blown away by how much nicer it is to hold a Canon or Nikon

Some interesting perspectives from this photographer: I’ve been railing against this niche nuisance for years now. And I give Sony credit for at least starting to pay attention to it in 2023 with the A9 III, but it just isn’t doing enough. My A9 III feels slightly better to use than my original A1 t

Selling the A7CII for a Fuji ie X-E5. Anyone else made a similar jump?

I have an A7 III, two A7C II’s and five different E-mount lenses. I’ve been shooting Sony for 8+ years. I always thought Sony’s colour science was, while accurate, very boring and clinical. All the photos I got from my Sony require post-processing to look more “aesthetic,” for the lack of better wor

Bye Sony

I did the same! There’s just something about the way Nikon renders images that Sony seems to lack. There’s a bit more character, the colours look a bit nicer. I went from an a7cii to ZR. I was doing MAINLY video work with the odd photo. Even the ZR takes better photos for sure. The Sony has better r

Sony A7C vs a6700 -- is it worth the extra money?

If you want a more compact setup, need more reach (wildlife, birding), plan to shoot video or use third-party strobes - get A6700. It's arguably the best APS-C on the market, and it is great. The sensor readout speed is amazing for video, and it has a proper full-mechanical shutter so you won't have

what added item makes your bag feel like this?

Makes sense. My has webbing on the straps (I think that's what it's called) which makes it super easy. I have the same issue as you with my small bag, though. I just finished a 70km hike with my Sony A7CII+Tamron 35-150 2-2.8, quite the chonker. I can definitely feel in my back that the load is off

Looking for consolation -- Just bouth a new s9 literally 1 day before the L10 annoucement (no returns allowed in my country)...RIP?

I have 2 sides as a photographer. I want something that shoots better photos of my family than a phone and I have a artsy fartsy side (low light performane and bokeh matter). S9 addreessed my pain point better than sony A7CII (shit sooc colors) and Fujifilm (concerns on AF)

Is Nikon Z the best camera series or am I missing something?

You could also have a look at the less expensive sony's like A7IV A7CII or A7VBut at the price of the A7IV and A7CII, i found Nikon Zf/Z6III to be the best choices (and i did the choice coming from a Fuji XT5 to the Nikon Zf). Can't be happier

Upgrade from GH5 and kit

For Sony: APSC: FX30, A6700 and ZVE-10 II all share the same sensor and specs, differences are with ergonomics and oveheating risk as you go down. 18-105 is an awesome kit lens as it has oss, internal zoom and decent IQ, but there are plenty of faster, newer and better third party lenses available f

So, does this mean an MFT lens lineup revival?

OM-3 and A7cII shooter here. The OM-3 is nowhere near Sony AF.
