Does anyone else feel like their office chair is slowly killing them?
There’s lots of good advice here already, but a good chair has to be part of the solution. I’m curious what chair you tried that didn’t help. There’s a lot of junk out there sold as premium that’s really not. I don’t sit at a desk all day, but I switched to a Steelcase Amia during Covid and it’s one

What’s the best gaming chair that’s actually comfortable long term?
Office chair gonna serve you much better. Will need to know your budget. For myself I use a remanufactured Steelcase Amia. https://crandalloffice.com/products/steelcase-amia-ergonomic-office-chair-remanufactured-by-crandall

How a Chair Exposed the Worst YouTubers
Yea I finally ended up getting a SteelCase Amia after many years of bad chairs and back problems. The Amia is by far the best I’ve sat in and I’ve not had any back issues since so got it a few years ago. Sounds like some people in this thread might’ve just not given it enough time to adjust (there I

Really digging my setup lately
No it is not, or at least I didn’t like it. I’m returning mine and getting a refurbished steelcase amia. If you sit in it for 8+ hours I’d wager it will do the same thing to your back as it did to mine; break it.

Gaming chair
All racing style gaming chairs are bogus…ya they look cool. But the seat design is meant for going fast in cars and not getting tossed around…that design philosophy doesn’t work well for sitting at a computer. Also of all of these chairs come from like the same 3 manufacturers and are never the best

Office vs. Gaming - Ergonomic Chair for Work. Recs? (Tall)
DO NOT BUY A GAMING CHAIR Depending on the area you are in, look for used Herman Miller/Steelcase chairs. I recommend the Leap v2, Aeron, Embody, or Amia, but there are plenty of other options. These are not going to be "comfortable" in the traditional sense, but they will improve your posture and l

Home Workstation Suggestions
Oh man, I researched office chairs for months. Gaming chairs are trendy, not for people that actually care about ergonomics and are gonna be working all day everyday. I considered going top of the line and getting the Herman Miller Embody. But after a lot of comparing, I went with the Steelcase Amia

Should I return the Omni and wait for the XL?
I returned mine because it was too small. It was a process but I did get a refund. I’ve been through two chairs since, the steelcase Amia and steelcase leap v2. If I knew a max version of the Omni was coming so soon, I’d have waited it out. After trying these two very expensive chairs, I’m realizing

Best office chair for lounging/gaming
The Humanscale Freedom is great for chilling, especially with the recline. The steelcase Amia is nice too, but it feels more like an office chair. If you’re looking for something more gaming-focused, the Zody isn’t as soft as you might want. You should check out ergonomicchairfinder to compare these

Home office setup. Anyone else end up preferring a wider seat at home?
Nothing beats a good ergo chair that allows you to vary positions with great support. I'm rocking a Steelcase Amia both at work (3 days a week) and at home.
