I need a wireless WiFi extender
I’d definitely go with a mesh wifi router system. You can add and remove nodes as needed to get the coverage you need and it keeps the same network ssid. General wifi “extenders” arent great and they create a new network ssid you have to connect to. I have the TP Link Deco x20 units and like them.

DECO X20

New house under construction – how should I plan Cat6 wiring + cameras?
I did this for a four floors house once. I ran all wires from the shaft to each floor. In each room added one cable to end near the TV unit. If anyone needed physical access to the port, they can easily plugin a small 5 port switch to that CAT6 end and live their life to the fullest. I also ran CAT

[Help] Giving up on eero/Deco/Nighthawk – What Mesh actually works with Ebox Fiber + Nokia ONT?
Many mesh systems allow for a wired connection between APs, improving performance a lot. I run a Deco X20 setup in my century home with a wired connection and I get 500+ Mbps pretty much anywhere that isn’t a deadzone due to old construction (thick walls mostly)

Modem and router are in the basement of my 3-story home. I have a Google nest mesh system but still have poor connection in some of the upstairs rooms. Any suggestions or recommendations for different mesh system?
Yep, Wi-Fi access from the basement in a 3-floor house is always tricky. Even with a mesh setup like Google Nest, thick floors and walls can really mess up the signal, especially upstairs. The first thing I’d try is moving your mesh nodes around. Place one on the ground floor and one upstairs, ideal

Mesh Wifi 6 or 7 router recommendation
Hey! The TP-Link Deco M9 Plus and Deco X20 AX1800 are both solid mesh picks. M9 is super reliable, and X20 gives you Wi-Fi 6 and great coverage for 4,000+ sq ft. https://www.grabnpay.in/products/tp-link-deco-x20-ax1800-whole-home-mesh-wi-fi-6-system-with-amazon-alexa-support?variant=47354117357872&_

Mejor router o Wifi mesh

Home Wifi setup, Need Help❓
difference is not that much honestly, for your sqft you should be fine imo. My house spans 4 floors with each floor about 4000sqft, easily covered with 3 deco x20 on each floor + 1 deco between the two floors. for 24 devices, it will not break a sweat.

Wondering if this would work to get Wi-Fi to my external garage? I have an AX5400 VDSL and thought an AX1800 Mesh system might allow me to get access to Wi-Fi in my garage, with approx. 10m distance. I can run cable between the VDSL and indoor mesh unit if needed. Thoughts?
Just thought I'd let everyone know I ended up purchasing the AX1800 (Deco X20's) and it worked perfectly with one in the bedroom and the other in the garage, as described in my initial post and image. I will still hook my indoor X20 to the VDSL modem via a Cat6 cable, but it looks like I may not rea
