How do I use a different router than the one provided?
Okay so I did this 2 days ago. I’m not tech savvy but was able to figure it out. It’s REALLY EASY. Buy a new router. The Nokia beacon 3.1 is garbage I’d recommend the Deco x50 (2 or 3 pack depending on home size). Skim through other comments - some like asus, ubiquiti, TP link. The router you get ne

Welche/r 5G-Router empfehlenswert?

2 decos x20, 1 floor house
Top pick: TP-Link Deco BE63 (or similar Wi-Fi 7 model like Deco 7 Pro) — Tri-band Wi-Fi 7, excellent speeds, strong range, and highly rated for performance/value. A 2- or 3-pack easily covers this size with room to spare. Great mid-range/value: TP-Link Deco XE75 / XE5300 (Wi-Fi 6E) or X55/X50 (Wi-Fi

best mesh wifi system for a medium size house in 2026 what should I get?
My opinion. Asus aimesh. I have tried TP Link X50 but they spend more time offline than on. Orbi is superb however its too rigid. One router and 2 satellites doesnt like bridge mode or AP Mode. I moved to Asus with RT-BE92U as router and XD4 mini access points. Router mode, AP mode both work well. V

I hate my internet
I live in an area with crappy ADLS and no Fiber at all. I ended up purchasing a TP-Link Deco X50 5G and a 5G sim card. It was the best choice ever. Download speed up to 450Mbps and upload about 40Mbps. Maybe OP could find this info useful

Router recommendation
I think there's some pretty decent mesh systems for under $300, look at the Tp-Link Deco X50. If you just want a standard router, you may only need that if your current router covers the apartment with, according to your phone in bars strong Wi-Fi, I would take a look at the archer BE550.

Vodafone Full Fibre Youtube Upload limited Could they Be Throttling it?
I also want to thank this thread for helping me fix the YouTube upload throttling issue via Vodafone. I purchased a TP Link Deco X50 Mesh X2 pack which arrived today, and it has solved the upload issue, as well as enhancing my speeds in a dead zone in my home office. What riles me slightly is that w

New customers...so far so good
Honestly it's worth investing in your own router. I agree wired mesh is the best solution here. I use two TP-link Deco X50 units connected via Ethernet, and have solid coverage throughout my home. I got the 2-pack on sale for around $150 + tax and ran the cable through the walls myself. If I had nee
