My opinion. Asus aimesh. I have tried TP Link X50 but they spend more time offline than on. Orbi is superb however its too rigid. One router and 2 satellites doesnt like bridge mode or AP Mode. I think there's some pretty decent mesh systems for under $300, look at the Tp-Link Deco X50. If you just want a standard router, you may only need that if your current router covers the apartment with, according to your phone in bars strong Wi-Fi, I would take a look at the archer BE550.
