Looking for new Network Router
Could always look into a Ubiquiti setup. As a newbie to the home networking world, I got a UniFi Express 7 and love it for my apartment. Did take a couple hours to dial in the settings tho. Dream Router 7 or Cloud Gateway paired with other APs might be more suited to your use, since they have more p

Routers You Trust?
It's been great. There was one issue with a firmware and I was notified by ubiquiti. I already patched the issue so no biggie. Once you get into the ubiquiti/unifi ecosystem it's really easy to get the best equipment and never need to change anything for 10 years. I have my router bridged from a Com

Should I use the TP-Link BE550 or Unifi Express 7 as my primary router?
The problem is that in Brazil, Ubiquiti equipment is very expensive; I was hoping that just the Express 7 would be enough to cover the area of the house.

Best WiFi Mesh UK
We have a Deco BE63 system that is fine, but Decos are so hit and miss. I see many people saying that they have great experiences, some say that it's terrible. My dad has issues specifically with his work laptop, as do some of our ring security cameras, everything else is fine. So even on the same s

No Stupid Questions Thread
Change the access point. I've got many Ubiquiti UniFi Express (now a newer version, Unifi Express 7) deployed in kits with ipads strictly for console control. These have been absolutely rock solid for this application, in rooms with 10k or more people. Great range, the ability to mesh them wirelessl

Upgrade to Express 7 or keep Express (6) (as access point)
Update to U6 Mesh or U7 Mesh. I was previously running original UniFi express and the speeds and coverage were poor. I was able to pickup a U6 Mesh and now my whole home is covered with just two access points whereas before I had 3 UniFi Express and it wasn’t enough Also the U6/U7 Mesh is optimized

Advise for purchase
I came from using a Synology RT2600AC in a little larger single floor house. I think it actually provided slightly better coverage than my U7 Pro. I don't know how the 560 compares but you may not be gaining anything coverage wise with the switch if you plan on only one AP and may actually lose. It'

Wi-Fi upgrade, help me decide
Not entirely clear on your Max thinking. Seems like you want the Express 7 at one end of the house and the U7 Pro at the other instead of just one device in the middle. Are you sure a UDR7 in the middle wouldn't cover your house? I had to add an Express 7 in to my basement at one end because my U7 P

Dream Router 7 vs. ASUS MESH
I just ordered the Dream Router 7 + UniFi Express 7, which I will use as a whole house wireless mesh. If I need to add another AP I will, but hoping it has similar coverage as the Orbi RBR50 router + RBS50 satellite which it is replacing (+ EoL mid-June). Regardless, the Orbi's are quite old anyway.

Wifi Troubleshooter
There's a little bit to unpack here...... You are not technically using a "wifi provider". You are using an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that is providing you with a device that has Wifi capabilities (ie. router, wireless gateway, access point, etc..) Where I work, we've had a handful of customer
