SCAM ALERT: Ultimate Ears is selling known defective Hyperbooms (Batch 2427/28) and GHOSTING customers. Case 16805312.
WARNING TO ALL CONSUMERS: Do not give this company a single penny. Ultimate Ears/Logitech has devolved into a fraudulent operation that sells budget-tier trash at premium prices and then hides from their legal obligations. I have now gone through THREE separate Hyperboom units. Two were DEAD ON ARR

Cheap decent portable speaker with an aux port?
EarFun Uboom X and an AUX-Bluetooth converter is what I’d buy myself. Ultimate Ears also makes decent enough stuff and you can demo at Best Buy. I bought the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom a few years ago. Spent more than I wanted just for the bass and loudness but that was JUST before Uboom X came out.

ignore the holes. how do I get to the ceiling/walls above the stairs?
In my experience UltimateEars have phenomenal customer service. I’ve owned about 8 over the last 10 years of various models, one started delaminating a few years after I bought it. Emailed them to ask if there was a way I could fix it. They basically said don’t bother fixing it here’s a replacement.

Best ~500€ bluetooth speaker for Psytrance
Ultimate ears Hyperboom, perfect sound clarity, deep bass, proper stereo sound in one speaker low latency if you use aux to dj. I know a lot of psytrance and techno djs and producents and everyone on them was blown away with sound quality.

Soundboks go 360 euros worth it?
The EV Everse 8 is a much better speaker for $630 new. I'm not sure where you found the deal for €360, but I'm guessing used. If you could find the Everse 8 used, I'd go for that. Same with the Bose S1 Pro+ ($699 new), Yorkville EXM Mobile 8 ($720 new), LD Systems ANNY 8 ($432 refurbished), Mackie T

Ultimate ears hyperboom x2 crushes my living room. Stereo pairing and great sound, deep bass. Kinda pricey, but worth it IMO

Solving the "Rice Krispies": Impedance Question for '98 Space Gear
I can’t speak to your direction, but I modernized my sound system: Ultimate ears Hyperboom in walk through area Literally the entire system sounded like just dogshit. Front, back, everywhere. So I just said fuck it. I don’t know what you do with your Delica, and it sounds like you ordered the speake

Can't you guys just upload the Hyperboom firmware updater tool for PC just like you previously had on the Ultimate Ears website? Why did you removed it from the official site I don't really get it.

Soundboks go or jbl 120, or 310.
No problem! I think the Hyperboom sounds the best out of the portable Bluetooth speakers I have. The bass at low volumes is so good and the frequency response curve is nearly flat, which is unheard of for Bluetooth speakers. It also fits perfectly in my drawer system in the back of my SUV. One good
