i commute on 280….dashcam reccomendations?
My fiance has a super long commute so she wanted a dashcam. I ended up getting a Viofo A229 Plus for her. I wanted something that had good video quality and also a rear camera. I installed everything myself. Between the instructions and YouTube videos it wasn't too bad. We've had to use it for one a

My first car
VIOFO seems to be top of the market right now. I have an A229+ and it was a breeze to install, works fabulously, and has caught lots of things.

Light mod options for 2026?
The first thing I did was install front and rear dash cams. I have the Viofo A229 Pro with the weather proof exterior camera mounted above my license plate. I specifically wanted the best rear view after a few close calls my first week of driving. Mounting it on my wind screen did not produce the be

Police question
May I recommend the VIOFO A229 Plus Dual Dash Cam Front and Rear. I spent a long time researching and this is the one that kept coming up. Then I watched the price for a long time and the best I saw it at was $159, so $199 now isn’t bad. Super simple to install too. The software isn’t the most intui

Integrated Dash Camera Follow Up - FitCamX
I went with a dongar adapter for install on my bZ and Viofo a229 pro. I like that system better because you can just swap any usb-c camera in as needed and is still a clean nearly cable free appearance.

What dash cam y’all using?
I like my VIOFO A229, wired into the fuse box on passenger side. Pretty straight forward install.

Where to purchase and install car camerA
I have the Viofo for over 5 years and it's still going strong even after our crazy summers. You can install it yourself. Don't forget to buy a MicroSD card as well https://www.amazon.com/VIOFO-A229-Plus-STARVIS-Ultra-Precise/dp/B0CKX14L34/ref=sr_1_3_pp?crid=1QWPSEZINQKIE&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.3IAsiTQQvTvd7

Did any of you install a dashcam>?
I installed a Viofo A229 plus front and rear cam with hardwiring when I got mine in 2024. Cost me about $230 for the cameras, SD card and hardwiring adapter. I wouldn’t say it was easy, so you might consider something that plugs into the center console instead of hardwiring. But if you’re interested
