Best Dash Cam for Ioniq 6 (Standard Range)? Low power consumption & Park Mode is a must!
All parking modes are the same in terms of them working based on a low voltage cutoff that you define. There isn't any concern about the car throwing errors from this with any brand. There's also a time-based cut off in many cameras, but that's kind of useless IMO. You have a few things to be concer

Dashcam that covers the car's sides
I'm not sure if this covers the sides the way you want it to, but something like a VIOFO A329S 3CH Installed with VIOFO Type-C HK6 ACC Hardwire Kit for A329S Series You would definitely want to add the VIOFO BP100 battery pack. For better video quality and to eliminate glare, I would add the CPL-200

New Mazda 3- looking for dash cam recommendations
Did a lot of research and sprung for a Viofo A329S in my 2023 turbo hatch. If you don't care about the parking mode features, one of the easiest "set it and forget it" power options is a Dongar adapter tapped into the mirror power connector, if it's there. Otherwise, you'll probably have to tap into

What dashcam are you guys using?
Viofo dash cams imo, are the best. I have the BlackboxMyCar PowerCell 8 Battery Pack hardwired to my car, and connected my Viofo A329 to the battery pack so it doesn't drain my car's battery during parking mode.

[Buying Advice] DDPAI Z90 Master vs VIOFO A329S - Parking mode, power drain
Thanks for the insights! I totally agree that you shouldn't cheap out on SD cards, especially with 4K bitrate. However, regarding the DDPAI Z90 Master, I think there’s a misunderstanding about its storage. It actually uses a hybrid system: it has 128GB of built-in eMMC storage AND a microSD slot (su

[Buying Advice] DDPAI Z90 Master vs VIOFO A329S - Parking mode, power drain
eMMC doesnt mean anything apart from that its integrated ie soldered in. Quality of the nand still varies. The A329 series with the ability to use an ssd imo is much more versatile. The A329S (I dont know if you can even buy the non S anymore) has low power impact detection/hybrid parking mode. You

[Buying Advice] DDPAI Z90 Master vs VIOFO A329S - Parking mode, power drain
For any camera I wouldnt cheap out on memory cards. Might as well not have one if youre going to pair any dashcam with a cheap card. Viofo dont recommend the sandisk high endurance but thats what I run in my a229 pro (no issues) and I have ran it in my a329s for a few months before I got an ssd. In

Viofo A329S needs better storage management firmware
To be honest I have no idea. I'm using Crucial MX500 2TB inside 2.5'' enclosure and a high quality Sandberg cable 3.1 Gen.2. It is very reliable SSD which I bought 2 years ago for 133 €. I saw on Amazon.de recently that it costs around 400€. Apparently lot of people is searching for this drive becau

Is it just me or is the Bluetooth button remote going through batteries quite fast?
I don't use the button all that much, so I'm still on the original battery. I think I've had mine for about six months now. I talked to VIOFO tech-support a couple months ago about adding some additional features to the programmable buttons on there. One of them being the ability to switch camera vi
