I love the deal but I don't have the money for it
That is way too expensive. Last I checked best buy has the exact same drive for 299.99 but it's the 850p, so you'll likely need to remove the heatsink if your Mobo has heatsinks pre installed. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/wd-black-sn850p-2tb-internal-ssd-pcie-gen-4-x4-with-heatsink-for-ps5/JXJ62C

Should I consider getting an extra SSD?
That’s 400$ cheaper than what my 8TB WD Black SN850P is priced at its cheapest today😂

What's the difference?
Exact same drive, same NAND memory, same in-house WD controller. The second one (SN850p) has a heatsink and you gotta pay for PlayStation tax.

Amd driver timeout!
Based on experience the issues you are having is an absolute pain. I had the same issues. The "wrong cable" advice is not the problem. I do agree you should use separate pcle cables for the GPU but the issue is COD is hot garbage regarding optimization and this issue is usually because of VRAM scale

Have a question about SSD
The SN850X is both faster and cheaper than the SN850P. You're literally just paying a premium for the Playstation logo on these. If you get the SN850X make sure you get one with the heatsink though. That said, SSD prices have been going up along with PC parts in general (probably so retailers can do

[OC] just a casual ~250% price increase
It's $234 USD here. The Best Buy pricing is crazy. If you look at the trend of pricing, it looks like a Sawtooth wave. https://pangoly.com/en/price-history/western-digital-wd-black-sn850p-1tb
