Wharfedale all the way . I own the Klipsch RP 600m II and I hated them. Absolutely hated the boosted highs and scooped out mids. No warmth or details. Just screechy highs. I bought the Lintons and I’ve never been happier.

That’s about what I paid when they went on sale in March pre-tariffs. They are great speakers for 2 channel listening and definitely good value at that $1500/speaker. I chose these over the Wharfedale super lintons due to their better clarity and sharpness.

Always try to get speakers secondhand if you can - they are mostly wooden boxes, so furniture, not tech. Haven't heard the Linton Heritage 's but I reckon they got a retro 70's style soundstage = warm, laid back, forgiving, not the best resolution, speed or forward mids &/ treble. My previous floorstanders were like that + pretty dark. They were not in the 2k range tho. Get yourself the floorstander th
