My Viture Beast Impressions as a One Pro Owner
Wow this is exactly the kind of review I was waiting for! Thank you for putting so much effort and time into this! This will save so many people so much money and hassle. I’m still considering upgrading from a XReal One to Pro - but you sound like that the extra FOV still don’t feel like it’s a prop

After 40 years of gaming, I found my sanctuary. A couch, a pair of glasses, and Red Dead Redemption 2
I have the XREAL One Pro, and it functions strictly as a monitor. The glasses have no battery. I can plug it into my Samsung phone and stream games from game pass ultimate to the phone and use the "giant" screen on the glasses as a monitor. I can also pair an Xbox controller to my phone and game any

Did anyone held them both in their hands and can tell which one felt better?
I did, and for my use case, the XAX felt better. I play mostly with AR Glasses (Xreal One Pro) so the in-built display doesn't matter. Now, take the glasses away, and the Go 2 wins by a landslide. I can't deal with 7" screens, no matter how good the ergonomics on the XAX are...

After Ditching Meta Headset Plans, Asus Partners with XREAL on ROG AR Glasses with 240Hz Display
This isn't accurate; The XREAL One Pro glasses that these are based on tend to have a higher PPD than a Quest 3 in practice, around 34. And the Quest is already a great way to 2D game. They're a great choice for affordable 2D gaming or productivity if you don't want to buy a 4K monster

Kudos to GizmoSlipTech. But is this true?
Hey there! Original reviewer here. One thing I’ll say is that while the Beast’s edges have worse chromatic aberration and blur than most, it is also the sharpest center image out of the XR glasses I have tried. So pros and cons. The Beast strength is center details, not edge sharpness. That’s for su

Been using XREAL One Pro for months. I'm returning the Beast.
Did you update the firmware? They added a calibration mode to reduce the drift (place on table for 10 seconds before using). Once calibrated, often the screen stays put for several minutes, and then the drift still happens, but much slower than it used to before the update. If you've already got a O

I mean.. i'm still waiting for them to use for movies and games but still.. is text really this bad on beast?
Yep, text on edges are that bad on my Beast. Lens chromatic aberration does vary from lens to lens though, so some lenses will have more or less of it. This is my 2nd XOP and I think it has sharper edges than my last one for example. Maybe other Beasts are a bit better? The thing is even though the

Virtue Beast for productivity
I use my glasses for productivity. Here are the big things to consider. Resolution on all models is 1080p (1200p is just taller). This may not be good enough for you. Birdbath vs prism lenses. I think birdbath is clearer but prism is clear for some people. Software support. There are a few models, X

Anytime AR glasses get brought up in this sub, people think of them with that bias of VR and do the echo chamber criticisms again. It's not gonna supplant VR as it's a different use case. For comparing with a TV, I have Xreal One Pros and the microOLEDs I would rather use to play flat gaming and wat

AR glasses, what’s been your experience?
Had the xreal air 2 and just upgraded to the xreal one pro to try out the new 2d- 3d conversion they put out. My experiences so far. Xreal air 2 was fine just a virtual screen that sat directly in front of your face. Glasses were not shaded enough though so lots of light bleed through unless you cli
