My Viture Beast Impressions as a One Pro Owner

Wow this is exactly the kind of review I was waiting for! Thank you for putting so much effort and time into this! This will save so many people so much money and hassle. I’m still considering upgrading from a XReal One to Pro - but you sound like that the extra FOV still don’t feel like it’s a prop

After 40 years of gaming, I found my sanctuary. A couch, a pair of glasses, and Red Dead Redemption 2

I have the XREAL One Pro, and it functions strictly as a monitor. The glasses have no battery. I can plug it into my Samsung phone and stream games from game pass ultimate to the phone and use the "giant" screen on the glasses as a monitor. I can also pair an Xbox controller to my phone and game any

Playing Comfortably in Bed

Got Xreal One Pro, no more problems, just placing deck on my belly. But that's quite an overkill

Been using XREAL One Pro for months. I'm returning the Beast.

Did you update the firmware? They added a calibration mode to reduce the drift (place on table for 10 seconds before using). Once calibrated, often the screen stays put for several minutes, and then the drift still happens, but much slower than it used to before the update. If you've already got a O

Why is Beast so hyped?

It has 3dof built into it (meaning no software required every device works and is just plug and play compared to other viture glasses which require spacewalker to do 3dof) and also provides a much larger FOV than other xr glasses other than the XReal one pro. Once or if it ever works properly it's c

Virtue Beast for productivity

I use my glasses for productivity. Here are the big things to consider. Resolution on all models is 1080p (1200p is just taller). This may not be good enough for you. Birdbath vs prism lenses. I think birdbath is clearer but prism is clear for some people. Software support. There are a few models, X

Next Project - Make these FPV

I've had the XReal One Pro's (the current top-of-the-line for the company) for awhile now and have played with them for FPV before. The main issue is that I only have DJI drones and the latency going from goggles -> phone dji app -> glasses is too much for flying (talking 300ms+). But for other VTX

Confusing?

Exactly, that was also my thinking. Also only beast has build in 3dof and could potentially have 6dof (like xreal one pro with camera). Luma Ultra only has 6dof with extra software, neckband, spacewalker, etc.Viture should be more clear where the differences between those are. They through around 3d

Do I just return these glasses??

I was able to update mine, but my Beast never worked with my legion 9i with 5090 which worked fine with the viture ultra luma. I got a lot of screen artifacting and glitches. Also have a ton of connection issues with the usb not being recognized on both my legion 9i as well as my Onexplayer super x

AR FPV

I've done this with XReal One Pro's as well, problem is with DJI systems the only way it's possible is by streaming to a phone then connecting the glasses to the phone. Adds way too much latency to fly (maybe 500ms), but it's fun for letting others watch me fly.
