Do you think there’s value in spaces dedicated to listening to full albums or private listening rooms?
I think most people who would be willing to pay for it are also willing to pay for a good setup at home. I absolutely love kicking back and listening to a full album at home. I have a pair of Yamaha HS8 speakers with the matching subwoofer and it sounds pretty dang good for not a crazy expense. I'd

Getting pretty serious as a label owner and producer, any outboard mastering gear I should look into?
Under $1000 total, I really like the Yamaha HS8 Monitors. If your budget is considerably higher, Neumann KH 310.

Of course, those are only useful if you also have a fully acoustically optimized room. Yamaha has the HS5 and HS8. These also have a subwoofe

Amp to buy !
Yamaha HS7 and HS8 active monitors use them - and they are one of the best cheapest HIFI speakers you can buy - I think Yamaha knows a thing or two about HIFI - so yes lm3886 amp is a great idea. As for that 60V mosfet by BJ - Im doubtful you can build it and not burn 10 mosfets in the process .

Question re: In-home monitors/pre-amp/stands.
Don't know what kind of space you've got, but I found a pair of Yamaha HS8 powered monitors (no preamp) on sale a couple years ago on Amazon Prime Day and have them connected through a FocusRite and it sounds marvelous. The HS8s are large-ish, but the low end on the 8" woofers is absolutely clean an
