I gave my lil sister my old phone... This is how it came back. Now my parents are demanding I give her my tablet.

They should get her an Amazon kids tablet. Cheap($70-100), has a THICK foam protector, and comes with a year of kids Amazon free time. Not sure why they are fine with her just destroying things.

My barely 5yo son asks me if he can "play skibidi toilet"

Fr I'm kinda surprised at how people are blaming the tablet, they've obviously never seen an Amazon kids tablet lol. There's 0 chance he got that from his tablet, that he spends barely an hour on a week. Even if he spent all day on it, he wouldn't have gotten it from the tablet. He doesn't have acce

Tablet just for travel

Amazon kids tablet! If it’s only for travel, you can just turn off the WiFi and YouTube isn’t an option. There’s also a lot of content if you get the kids+ (it’s usually included for the first year I think) and you can limit the content for their age. We have Amazon kids tablets for exactly this rea

Transitioning to an iPhone has turned out to be the most regrettable choice I’ve ever made. What initially seemed like an exciting leap into a world of sleek design and modern features quickly unfolded into a frustrating experience filled with limitations and inconveniences.

If you are looking for a child focused device with a lot of parental controls honestly the Kindle Fire Kids edition are much more empowering than ordinary Android experiences. Amazon invested quite a lot into their Kids ecosystem.

Advice on a device for kids that has Libby and nothing else

My kids had Kindle Fire Kids tablets. I was able to control what they had access to pretty effectively, but most apps that were not already part of the Kindle Fire ecosystem are completely out of the question (unless you go the route of sideloading apps). You cannot have true kindle access on the ap

PBS Kids App on Fire 7 kids tablet

My daughter's favorite thing on her school-issued iPad is watching Sesame Street on the PBS Kids app, so I bought her a Fire 7 Kids for the main purpose of doing that while giving her the option to access other apps. My issue now is, Sesame Street is not even showing on the PBS Kids app on her Fire

Low Storage solution for Fire 7 Kids edition (16GB)

We were getting the infamous "Low Storage" notice on our daughters Kindle Fire. In checking the internal storage on my daughter's account, my wife found a file labeled miscellaneous that was 6.4GB large. My wife spent a few hours last night trying to figure out what it was and how to fix it to no

How to add Google Play Apps to Child Profile?

I have the new Fire 7 Kids version. I was able to install the google play store and downloaded the "Youtube Kids" that my child loves, but I can't seem to add it to the child profile. The only apps it allows me to select are those downloaded from Amazon's own app store. Is there anyway around this?

Fire 7 Kids tablet - subscription needed? Remove apps?

My inlaws gifted my toddler a Fire 7 Kids tablet over a year ago and it's been sitting in the box unused in my basement since (don't buy someone else's toddler a tablet without parents permission...anyway). We have a very long car trip coming up so, I figured I would finally pull it out. I was hopin
